Love The Clouds: City Welcoming Dark Clouds

It can look scary from the second floor of the building. You can see that the houses on the first floor do not have solid rooftop coverage to withstand the wind speeds of a hurricane or strong tropical storm. Despite the challenges the house root topper has faced for the past three seasons, I believe that the current season will be a successful protection of the household.

The clouds seemed to move from this direction to the opposite location. The wind was not strong on the rooftop, but I could clear distinct the movement of this mass of water under the form of gas.

I can describe what happen two after the shots were taken, the wind got stronger and the huge noise of the droplet of water fallen on the iron made material on the rooftop of the houses. It was a one hour and half heavy rain that causes flooding in many houses in the neighborhood.

It was not over because after the rain had stopped, the sky was still full of dark clouds. I wanted to take more photos in this brief moment of calm, when lightning struck not too far from my house.

The electrical equipment on a big, tall structure caught fire. I did not want to risk my camera in this terrible weather condition. I went back into the house and made sure that all appliances in the house were disconnected from the power supply.

The power outage happened when the second lightning strike occurred. The huge noise of the thunder felt like a bomb exploding in the air a few meters above the city.

For the rest of the evening, it continued to rain in lighter drop of water. I was too tired to wait for the electricity power to return, so I went to bed and discovered that the light in my room was on.
