What is Stake House Den ?

Let's start with the introduction of Stake House Den. This is kinda new game with the Play to Earn just launched, so some of you might not aware of this game.

Stake House Den is a web3 casino games from Invennium Corp which is a subsidiary of Splinterlands and is launched on the Arcade Colony platform. The game is basically an online casino games, where we can play up to 9 games (but at the moment, there are only 3 available), and win some colonies for winning the game. But, we will need hotsauce for playing those games.

Hot Sauce and Refrigerator

Hot sauce will works like the energy that we need to play Splinterlands, or like the fuel for racing in Moonkarts. But, on this game, we can multiply them for getting more rewards multiplier, so hot sauce is very very important if we want to play Stake House Den.

There is new mechanism that were introduced by the dev here, it's called refrigerator. Unlike the moonkarts where we can basically store as many fuels as we have, on Stake House Den, our hotsauce are limited to how big our refrigerator. You are given a free one but it will only manage to store 50 hot sauce, so you need to upgrade the refrigerator by spending credits or script to make it bigger.

How to Upgrade the Refrigerator

To upgrade the refrigerator, you can go into the Stake House Den site on

And if you put the cursor to the hotsauce indicator, there is pop up appeared to upgrade the storage capacity.

You can also find the link when trying to collect the hot sauuce. There are hot sauce cap at the top left of the screen, simply click the shop button on the right side of it.

I have 241 hot sauce ready to claim, so I need bigger refrigerator to be able to claim all of it.

Tier 2 will be enough for now because it gives 400 additional capacity, so I will be able to claim up to 450 hot sauce !

This upgrade cost only 1 script !

Once it succeed, we will find the hot sauce cap is showing the new value, it's 450 now on my refrigerator capacity. I also stake more cards to improve my hot sauce generation.

Try the Play to Earn

Now since the hot sauce is ready, let's try to play some games !

Blackjack is my choice, and the first game is very cruel with the bot have a blackjack so I can't even play.

Try another game, and get another lost.

Time to increase my bet into 50, get another lost 😂

Try 100 hot sauce now, and got a tie.

Do another 100 hot sauce game and finally win the game ! I got 0.18 colony there for betting 100 hot sauce. Is it worth ? Well, players think it's quite little, and I think so, but since it's the first day, let's see if the rewards will get balanced. I have enough game for today.

What's Next ?

I have some script left for staking the cards, my plan is to have more to stake and I may get some packs again because it seems that upgrading will give massive hot sauce generation.
