Before the Storm

Once I captured a moment on the lake as the weather shifted rapidly.

The sky grew heavy and leaden, and low clouds hung over the mountain ridges. On the horizon, bands of rain appeared, falling in dense grey curtains that blurred the line between sky and land.

The lake darkened, its surface breaking into fine ripples in the rising wind. The sun disappeared, colors faded, and the entire landscape fell still before the storm.
