Digital addiction, live? [ENG-PT/BR]

I've been photographing live music concerts for over three decades and I've never seen anything like it. There are more smartphones than people. Almost, or maybe not!

I've spoken to organizers of events, such as the Queima das Fitas in Coimbra and other music festivals, and they've told me that modern influencers no longer want free transit to photograph at specific venues, but prefer to be in public and film for their various social networks.

It's a phenomenon that cuts across all latitudes and age groups. Everyone wants to capture the moment. Often forgetting to live in the moment.

This new social behavior has already led bands like Iron Maiden to ask their fans to live in the moment and not point their phones at it.

The desire to memorize the present, the now, means that when we talk about live concerts, we don't fully experience the moment. What do you think of this phenomenon? Let us know what you think in the comments. Far from any controversy, I find these moments photogenic. Hence the sharing of these photos.

Daí a partilha destas fotografias.

Those were many smartphones. Friend, it seems it was an interesting show, maybe, the performance were in a likable way. I think the captured the moment, so that they can look at it some other time.

Yes, everyone wants to carry the best moments on their cell phones.
Thanks a lot, friend 🤝

Without a doubt, music was felt more before, especially at live concerts, but well, like any area of our current situation, cell phones are always present.

It has happened to all of us to live those situations where instead of experiencing the moment everyone is recording it on their cell phones, it's a little strange how easy it has become commonplace to do that.

New times, friend.

I think this is a horrible behaviour... Thrown away the real experince just to see a joke of it later again... Why not experiencing it full when it was possible? I don't get it... People don't live in the present...

Look your pics: already in this moment bysatanders of the smartphone user look "how does it look on smartphone?" WTF... Girl, turn your head, you can see how it looks! But maybe the memory of "it looked so cool on the smartphone! What a filter! The colors, so vibrant!" is worth more?

So confused. Even at the peak of consume people are distracted by another and more bad form of consuming... So weird... People are lost somhow. Or I am to old...

Yes, in fact, technological evolution is causing strange behavior in people.

Honestly, I also don't understand when they discard the present moment to record it in memory.

New times, my friend.
