Nature In The City: Ayora Garden, In Spain

in Visual Shots6 days ago (edited)

Hi lovely hivers!

Ufff! It's summer and it's very hot, and it's even more noticeable if we stay in the city because we have things to do, and even if we'd like to, we can't always be at the beach (it's too hot there these days too; the sand burns and it's only really comfortable in the sea).

But as we were saying, sometimes we have to go out in the city, even on very hot days, and in these cases, we can take refuge in an urban public garden. There, under the trees, we can breathe a little easier, we can feel the gentle breeze that struggles to reach us from the sea, a little further away, and we can find some relief in the shade of our friends the trees; they are there to comfort us and protect us from the strong rays of the sun on these oppressive days.

Sometimes it's not enough, but that green bubble of nature can be a relief for our bodies, a chance to pause for a moment from our daily tasks and the hustle and bustle. This is how we discover how lucky we are to have parks like these in a city, for example in Valencia, Spain, and in others as well. But I particularly like this park, and I've written about it before, along with more photos. Now I can once again enjoy this lovely, lush place, which makes us forget for a moment that we're in a city.

And upon entering, we find vestiges of a blooming spring that resists drying up in the heat; a great variety of large and beautiful colorful flowers surrounds us. We begin to explore and discover different species and types of flowers, plants, and trees—a paradise!

I adore pink flowers, and here I've discovered a huge variety; it's such a pleasure to stroll beneath a beautiful curtain of blooms, isn't it? And we also found other types and colors, white or purple. All fresh, vibrant, and gorgeous, in a striking and pleasantly lively green setting.

And we venture deeper, exploring its dirt paths, like a natural labyrinth. Besides the wonderful flowers and plants, what can I say about the incredible trees? There are so many, and so many different varieties, from local species to many tropical ones that have adapted very well. They are all lush, full of life, leaves, and freshness—what a pleasure to be there. We love them all. We continue walking, winding through the park, until we sit down on a bench to breathe in nature for a moment.

I hope you enjoy the photos of this park, Ayora Garden. I hope that looking at the photos you'll appreciate the natural greenery, the peace and freshness that almost seems to come through the screen. All the sensations are now visual, but it's a sensory experience in every sense. So when you're out and about in the city, any city, and you feel overwhelmed or hot, or both, don't hesitate, stop for a moment if you can, in an urban park, and breathe, enjoy nature, even in the city.

Thanks for reading! Have a nice and fresh day!

Molto belli quei fiori...

😍 Wow what a lovely garden! Amazing how you have lots of beautiful parks out there. Here we have lots of malls instead. I think it's 'coz it's mostly hot here all year round that locals prefer to be in air-conditioned places 😆 Stay cool and hydrated always! An advance happy weekend...

Well there are malls too but recenyly in some shops inside they open doors instead of switching on the AC, probably for saving money in the electricity bill... this society is getting poorer here unfortunately. And anywayz it is always good to enjoy nature that is also healthy for us. The rest of the time, beach or home with AC. Thanks a lot for the message and support!!!
We have just to be patient, always like this in summertime!!!!
Happy weekend to you too my friend!!!
