Hello everyone and dear Friends in the Visual Shots Community 🙌📸
During my last trip to Gorski Kotar in my beautiful Croatia, I visited the "Big Carnivores" Visitor Center located within the Stara Sušica Castle. Gorski Kotar is one of the rare areas in Europe where all three large carnivores still roam freely, which makes this center even more special and a real window into untouched nature and its balance. In addition to the exhibition, the center also offers workshops, educational programs, and guided tours that are ideal for children and all nature lovers. It is located right next to the historic Frankopan Castle, surrounded by forests and fresh mountain air. Here you can truly, so to speak, immerse yourself in the mysterious world of the three largest European carnivores - the bear, the wolf, and the lynx, and visitors literally "enter" the forest and discover how these fascinating animals live, hunt, and survive. So did I, and you can join me in this post of mine today.
So, let's go!

So, I was thrilled with the bear lying in the cave, and when you touch its head and ear, it purrs sooooo well. There are other animals, besides the large beasts that I presented to you today, as well as other interesting birds and insects, but I will continue that tomorrow because I did not manage to process all the photos. Of course, there are also educational panels with descriptions of animals and their habitats. But tomorrow is a new day and tomorrow will be a new post with the rest of the photos and a description of this wonderful place.

I took the photos with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode, RAW format required, variable ISO and shutter speed. Processing in Photoshop - Camera Raw Filter.
See You Tomorrow dear Friends!
