Just a few non specific shots of Almaty where I was on an overnight stay.

The gentle colours of the sunsetting the Tien Shan snow covered mountains in the distance.

Stepped out of the hotel to be faced with the gorgeousness

I was on my way to get my tea, having found a highly rated restaurant serving mouth watering food, ice cold beer, and fairly inexpensive. When I came across some weird and wonderful structures. No idea why or what

The Wedding Palace, originally built in 1971, currently being renovated

Looks like a decent camera

Looks like Ozzy Osbourne

Does not look like Kurt Cobain

and so now let me eat my tea in peace and quiet. A Kahzak dish?

Nah don't be daft! chicken jalfrezi, peas pilau rice and some naan bread. Food of the gods, I feasted well.
