I’m popping in here again to tell you more about my experience at the Meliá Internacional Varadero hotel during my trip to Matanzas. This time, I’ll be talking about an area that my partner and I really enjoyed: the swimming pool.
Hola amigos de Hive. Les deseo tengan un bello día y que Dios los bendiga siempre. Aprovecho pasar nuevamente por acá para seguir comentándoles de mi experiencia en el hotel Meliá Internacional Varadero durante mi viaje a Matanzas. En esta ocasión, les hablaré de un área que disfruté muchísimo junto a mi pareja: la piscina.
The Meliá Internacional Varadero has several swimming pools, all of which are lovely as it’s a new hotel. Signs along the edges of the pools indicated the different depths. This information is very important for swimmers, especially if they aren’t very strong swimmers. In any case, during swimming hours from 8 am to 7 pm, there were always lifeguards on duty looking after guests and ensuring their safety.
El Meliá Internacional Varadero tiene varias piscinas, todas muy bellas pues es un hotel nuevo. Al mirar en los bordes de las piscinas se encontraban señalizadas las distintas profundidades que podían tener. Está información es muy importante para los bañistas, sobre todo si no son muy buenos nadando. En cualquier caso durante el horario de baño de 8 de la mañana a 7 de la noche siempre habían salvavidas pendientes de los clientes y de su seguridad.
There’s a bar that serves food and drink to bathers, and not only was it beautiful, but the service there was also excellent. The hanging basins and ice-cold lemonades were among the best things I’ve ever tasted with my beloved husband.
Hay un bar que le oferta servicios gastronómicos a los bañistas y no solo era precioso, sino que la atención que brindaban en él también era excelente. Las pilas colgadas y las limonadas bien frías eran de lo mejor que pude probar junto a mi amado esposo.
Walking around the pool area, you could see the changing rooms and the place where you could swap wet towels for dry ones. Continuing along that route, I spotted a giant chessboard with its pieces. I must admit I was very tempted to have a game. The décor was absolutely lovely.
Al recorrer el área de piscina se alcanzaban a ver la zona de los baños y el local donde se podían cambiar las toallas mojadas por otras secas. Siguiendo ese recorrido pude observar un tablero de ajedrez gigante con sus piezas. Confieso que poco me faltó para echar una partida. Estaba muy hermosa esa decoración.
All around the pool area there were loads of sun loungers where you could sit back, relax and sunbathe; amongst the palm trees and the blue sky, it created a very relaxing tropical atmosphere. One thing I simply must mention is that very close by there were some tents with massage therapists available to anyone who wanted their services; there were also hairdressers offering styling services. Once again, I must say, the service was phenomenal.
Alrededor de toda el área de piscina habían muchísimas tumbonas para sentarse a descansar y tomar el sol, entre las palmas y el azul del cielo, se creaba un ambiente tropical muy relajante. Algo que no me puede faltar mencionar es que muy cerca de allí habían unas carpas con masajistas a disposición de quien solicitara sus servicios, también habían estilistas que hacían peinados. Una vez más les digo, la atención fue fenomenal.
One thing worth highlighting is that there was a children’s pool. It was beautifully decorated and even had a slide. I thought it was excellent that they’d taken the needs of the little ones into account. From a distance, you could see the children laughing and playing happily, whilst their parents were relaxed, knowing that their children were safe and well looked after in a pool area suited to their needs.
Algo a destacar es que había una piscina infantil. Estaba muy bonita decorada con tobogán incluído. Me pareció excelente que se tomaran en cuenta las necesidades de los más pequeños. Desde lejos se veía a los niños riendo y jugando felices y sus padres tranquilos porque sabían que sus hijos estaban seguros y cuidados en un área de piscina acordé a sus necesidades.
The swimming pool was spotlessly clean and the water was lovely. The staff were always attentive to the smallest details to ensure guests had a pleasant experience. I highly recommend this hotel, whether you’re staying overnight or just for the day. I know that if you go, you’ll enjoy it just as much as my husband and I did. A big hug to you all. La piscina estaba muy limpia y el agua muy agradable. El personal siempre atento al más mínimo detalle para contribuir a que la experiencia de los clientes sea satisfactoria. Les recomiendo mucho este hotel, ya sea para hospedarse o para pasadía. Sé que si van lo disfrutarán tanto como mi esposo y yo. Un abrazo grande a todos. Hasta la próxima.
