Basic Card Features

Steelshield Arbalest is a Human type unit, whose main strength is its Double Strike ability. This means that it attacks twice per round, rather than once. As a result, it is able to deal twice the damage of other ranged units at the same time.

Some important features of the card:
Mana Cost: Medium (usually around 6)
Attack Type: Ranged
Speed: Medium
Health: Good
Armor: Good at some levels
⚔️ Main Benefits
- Double Strike – Double Attack Power
Steelshield Arbalests biggest strength is its Double Strike. It attacks twice in same turn, which can quickly reduce the opponents health. Especially if your team has a Damage Boost (such as Inspire Strengthen), its effectiveness increases even more.
- Rapid Enemy Elimination
This card can quickly destroy Frontline tanks. Because attacking twice per turn reduces the enemy's Armor and Health quickly.

- Late-game scaling
This card becomes more powerful at higher levels. For example:
Speed increases
Health increases
Ability (such as Shield or Piercing) can be added
🧠 Strategic use
🔹 1. Tank + Support combination
Steelshield Arbalest is not very durable alone. So a strong tank should be used in front of it. For example:
High Armor Tank
Tank with Heal or Shield
This will allow Arbalest to safely deal damage from behind.
🔹 2. Use with Buff Cards
This card works great with Buff Cards:
Inspire → Increases Melee (although it is Ranged, but for other units)
Protect → Increases Armor
Strengthen → Increases Health
If there is a Summoner or Support card that increases Ranged Attack, Steelshield Arbalest becomes even more deadly.
🔹 3. Targeting Strategy
This card usually attacks the first enemy (Frontline). However, if there is a rule set where Sneak or Snipe works, then the strategy needs to be changed.

📍 In which position to use it?
🥇 1. Backline (best position)
The safest and most effective position for Steelshield Arbalest is Backline, that is, the last or last position of the team.
Reason:
It is a Ranged unit, cannot attack if it is in front
It can safely use Double Strike if it is in the back
🥈 2. Midline (in some cases)
If you have Taunt or Shield units in your team, it can also be placed in the middle position. However, there is a risk.
❌ Frontline (better not to use)
This card should never be placed in the first position. Reason:
Ranged units cannot attack from the front
Can die very quickly
⚠️ Weaknesses
- Low Defense
Although Armor and Health are average, it cannot withstand Heavy Attack.
- Problems without Close Range Rule
If there is a rule set where Ranged attacks cannot be made from Frontline, then it becomes completely ineffective if it comes to the front.
- Weak against Magic Attack
Magic Attack directly hits Health, bypasses Armor—this is dangerous for Arbalest.
🔄 Which rule set does it work well in?
✅ Good
Equalizer → Everyone gets equal Health
Armored Up → Armor is high
Target Practice → Snipe works
❌ Bad
Problems without Close Range → Noxious Fumes → Can die quickly from Poison Damage
🧩 Ideal team composition
A good team could be:
Frontline Tank (High Armor + Shield)
Secondary Tank / Support
Healer
Buffer (Protect/Strengthen)
Steelshield Arbalest (Backline)
Sneak or Snipe unit
