Those who regularly battle in Splinterlands know very well that having strong monsters alone does not always guarantee victory. The key to real victory lies in the hands of a competent Summoner. Today, I upgraded my widely used and favorite Summoner Zeddica to Level 4, and to be honest, this upgrade has added a new dimension to my battle strategy.

In this article, I will highlight in the light of my personal experience—why Zeddica is so important, what changes have occurred after upgrading to Level 4, and how it plays an important role in winning battles.
Why Summoner is the heart of Splinterlands

In Splinterlands, the Summoner is the brain the entire team. What level cards can be used, what types of monsters can be brought down, and what the overall strength entire team will be—everything depends on Summoner.
I have often noticed that even using the same monster, just changing Summoner can completely change the outcome battle. This is where Zeddica sets itself apart.
Zeddica: An Exceptional Summoner
Zeddica is not only visually appealing, but also incredibly effective. It is a Human type Summoner, whose mana cost is relatively low, but its impact is profound.

I have been using Zeddica since beginning and had a plan level it up gradually. This is because this Summoner is designed in such a way that it is effective in all situations, from mid-level high-level battles.
Why I decided to upgrade to level 4
To make Zeddica level 4, a total of 16 cards had to be combined, which cannot be undone at all. So I thought carefully before making the decision.
I was noticing—
I need to increase my battle power
I need the opportunity to use high-level monsters
I need a strong summoner to survive in the league
Considering these three aspects, I decided to level Zeddica to level 4.
Changes and benefits of Zeddica at level 4
The effects are clearly visible after Zeddica reaches level 4.

- Use of high-level monsters
Being a level 4 summoner, I can now take down much more powerful monsters. Those that were previously limited can now be easily added to the team.
- Increase in battle power
Zeddica's estimated power at level 4 has increased significantly. As a result, I am getting benefits in both Ranked Battle and Season Reward.
- Freedom of team combination
Where before I had be stuck with certain monsters now there are many more options open up. As a result, it has become much easier arrange the team according opponent.
Real-world impact in battle: My experience
I felt the difference in the first few battles after leveling Zeddica to level 4.
Increased survivability in the mid-game
The team doesn't collapse at the last minute
The opponent's strong combination also won
Especially in matches with Equalizer, Little League or high Mana Cap, Zeddica level 4 works exceptionally well.
Why does this Summoner play an important role in battle victory
Zeddica is a Summoner that doesn't focus on just one aspect. Rather, it maintains the balance of the entire team.
Low mana cost
Stable performance
Suitable as a long-term investment
For these three reasons, Zeddica level 4 is now a reliable weapon for me.
Level 5 and future plans
After level 4, Zeddica is now 0/30 cards toward level 5. Although it will take more time to level 5, it is clearly in my plan.
I want to gradually collect cards and make it stronger in the future. Because I believe—a good Summoner is never redundant.
My advice for new players

For new or mid-level players—
Choose a good Summoner first
Level up gradually
Don't try to max everything all at once
An upgrade like Zeddica level 4 will benefit you in the long run.
Leveling Zeddica to level 4 today is an important milestone in my Splinterlands journey. It's not just a card upgrade, but an improvement in my entire battle strategy.
I'm more confident in every match now. I know that I have a strong Summoner behind my team, who is leading me to victory.
Finally I want say—winning in Splinterlands is not just about strength, but the result right decisions. And leveling Zeddica level 4 was best decisions I've ever made.
