With a little over three days left in the Season, I was wondering if I would ever be able to get back to the Silver Tier. I have a very limited selection of Modern cards with no Summoners/Archons over level 1. So in all my matches, I could only play with level 1 units.
However today was my lucky day and I was able to win several matches in a row and move back up into Silver III.
Silver III Rewards
I was looking forward to revealing the rewards that I had unlocked for moving to Silver III. I am hoping to expand my card selection and have yet to create a strategy for doing so.
The rewards are 4 small chests and 1 medium chest.
I make sure that I use potions when opening chests hoping that I might get lucky an obtain a Gold or Legendary card. For opening these reward chests it might use up to 5 of both the Potions - Legendary and Alchemy.
This is the time I look forward to. The anticipation of knowing you will get something but not knowing exactly what it will be. I open one at a time to draw out the excitement.
The first card I turn over is Rare Commander Slade card. I love this card and it is my go to Tank for most of my matches using the Water element. The second card is also from Water and is the Giant Alpine Skink card.
The third and fourth cards are so so meaning that I can always use merits and potions but I like getting cards better.
On my final chest which is the medium one, I receive two cards of the Lucheim Demon. I could not remember if I own this card or not. But I will take whatever cards I can get.
Limited Selection in Modern Format
I started looking at my Modern cards and discovered that I have several rewards cards that are leveled up. However when selecting cards for matches, I am only presented with the level 1 version of these cards.
I have a Gold Commander Slade with is a level 2. 
And have leveled up the Giant Alpine Skink to level 3.
Summoners / Archons Must Leveled Up
For the Modern Format, I only have two summoners that I can use and they are both level 1. I was so use to playing with my Gold Chaos Summoners that I completely forgot I need to get the Rebellion and/or Conclave Summoners / Archons.
Since these are dual element, I was able to participate in most of the matches thus far. However I do not have a Modern Light or Dragon Summoner / Archon, this is why I could not remember owning a copy of the Luceheim Demon card that I just received as a reward. It appears I did own a level 3 copy of the card. But without a summoner it does not matter what level the card is, it can still not be played.
Next Steps
You know, getting these rewards cards have now brought several things to light that I will not be able to resolve all at once. I need to have level up summoners to play my leveled up cards and I also need a summoner from the Light and Dragon elements so I can play the other 8 Life Units and 2 Dragon Units I have in my collection.
I guess I have been very lucky up to this point to not have one of my match rule sets be only Life or Dragon, very lucky.
So to address one of the items while I collect funds to take card of the other two items, I have decided to purchase the cheapest Life or Dragon summoner on the market.
