I Am Still One of The OG in Small Mana Cap Battle

Hello Summoners

We just finished a brawl, and I could say that I was happy because I did not lose the small mana cap battle. I have been doing that for weeks so I think It is a legit for me to brag about myself being an OG for Small Mana Cap battles.

One of those battles was in my last Brawl. It was a 13 mana cap battles and I had a hunch that it was a good opportunity to deploy a Quora Towershead and bulldozed everyone there. However... I did not have Quora Towershead in Gold Foil. You know, I am a gold foil brawl players without Quora Towershead lol.

So like it or not, my goal was simple... preparing to counter that Quora Towershead for myself. If I thought it was a great meta, so did my opponent...

The Battle

This was the battle we have been talking about. One Quora Towershead vs 4 Small units, and the sad thing was Quora Towershead was the opponent in this battle.

I tried to exploit the Equalizer modifiers on that battles, by employing as many opponent as I could. However there were two main points that keep bothering me.

  1. Quora Towershead had 12 health points. Every round she will recover herself with her healing ability, and the rate of her recovery was 4 health point per round. Unless I deployed a line up with more than 4 damage per round, my team could not win that battle.
  2. Quora Towershead had a basic 2 melee damage and 2 magic damage. I did not know what summoner they would bring, but atleast my tank in the line up should able to heal up 4 health point a round. She had a bloodlust ability, a kill would buff her up and that would be the beginning of my lose.

So I gambled everything on a unit that was one of the most decisive in small mana cap battle, Halfling Refugee!

He had 3 melee damage, and that was the most decisive factor in this battle. I understood that time that Weary ability could become an ass, it could make my unit exhausted when it had to make the most crucial move. So this move was not a guarantee one, RNG could ruin my plan.

However that was not the case because what I had worried before, did not happen. My Halfling Refugee made moves in the first two round and then we managed to finish of Quora Towershead. I was a one sided victory but I knew RNG was being nice to my team. Else it could be a long long long rounds for this battle.

At least with this battle, it is not an empty talk if I say you are better careful if you meet me in small mana cap battles, I am dangerous lol. What do you think about this, do you think I am lucky because RNG being nice to me? or Do you think Quora Towershead was not a good choice due to that Equalizer modifiers? Feel free to agree and disagree here, you can share your thought below.

That's all I want to share today. Thanks for reading and see you on Splinterlands battle!

Very poor choice of Quora there, if you had mana of 17 and a llama I might still go with Quora. But that's a whole different scenario. Here it makes more sense to use several smalls to beat her up, just like you did! Well done!

13 mana cap is hard to get more than 4 damage per round, because sometime people tend to defend too, sacrificing attack power
