Howdy All, I hope you are having a fantastic Splinterlands season.
Well, my seasons are not great recently, neither this one or the previous one. I have been unable to play Splinterlands regularly due to works, but I am still happy because I can enjoy my time while I am having it.
I do believe if we are having a good time, good things will come. Not only once or twice, it can be many times. As I have a very limited time today, somehow a very good thing coming out of nowhere...
Yep, I got a very rare Black Card, and it is Gravebrand Warlock. I like this card a lot, so I am excited but sad in the same time. I want to keep him in my selection, but I know I have to sell him because the DEC I will get from the market would be significantly boost my line up by allowing me acquire more cards.

Anyway how good is this Gravebrand Warlock? I could say, from my own experience, it is one of the most useful rare rarity card for the Conclave Arcana set, especially from the rewards edition. Somehow all rare rarity cards from Death Element are great, I mean in average better than the other elements. I am talking about the rare rarity only ya, not for the all rarity.
Gravebrand Warlock is a bad one at the first level, because he is very slow. But that's the paradox he has, which starting from the second level, he will have swiftness ability. This card is problematic, because he boosts everyone speed, but himself is a snail.
Things change drastically when he reaches level four. At silver league level cap, he will get an Execute Ability, and this is where everything change, and he becomes a big threat. 3 Magic damage with an execute ability means that any 5 health point units will die from his attack. The execute ability will trigger the second attack, which mean it will deliver a total of 6 damage.
With that capacity, it doesn't make him as the greatest, but definitely it puts him into the most useful one because some meta need him to make the meta working better. Either it is for speed manipulation of the execute ability that could be very deadly during explosive weaponry modifier.
If only his speed is not 1 or 2, he might be everyone favorite from this conclave arcana set.
