Luck or perseverance? Today @bechibenner has emerged as victor of the Tournament, and our heartfelt congratulations go out to @bechibenner for this achievement. But in the halls beneath the arena where the contestants await the days results and share a flagon of ale or two (and sometimes three) there has been a discussion as to whether @bechibenner's victory was the result of luck or perseverance.

Some argue that all contestants selected as the day's victor who did not sit atop the list by a margin of more than 10 raffle tickets are the recipients of Lady Luck's favor. Others contend that anyone who has persevered and maneuvered themselves into the top 25% of the list, as @bechibenner did, attained their victory by hard work, dedication and perseverance and luck was an insignificant contributor, if at all.
