Pizza A Slice of Madness Brawl Report: Fourth Place

in Splinterlands15 hours ago

Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! This is my report for Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we fight with other guilds for the fun challenge and rewards. This is our battle report for the week.

Overall Guild Rank: Fourth Place

We had an improvement in this week's brawl ranking in fourth place. Last week was bad as we only ranked in sixth. We won 90 games while losing only 27. Third place finisher Forbidden Summoners had a large lead over us but we also enjoyed a big lead over fifth place guild Tom Yum Goong.

Top Brawl Participants

I had an excellent brawl winning eight games and losing only one. I shared third to seventh place in our guild's top brawl participants.

Selected Games

Here I present two of the games that I won.

Game 1

The first game I had the Earth element and Quora for my gladiator. I put the gladiator in tank and archer attackers behind. I put New Beluroc Aegis in the rear to attract attacks giving respite to my tank. This is a stable team composed of a strong tank and attackers.

My opponent chose a combination of magic units protected by shields. His archon has a shield buff to the entire team. He put a tank in front then his attackers are magic units. Similarly, he put New Beluroc Aegis in the back to attract attacks.

My team's advantage lies in the tank position. My tank can heal while the opponent's tank cannot. Even though his magic attacks were strong, my tank was able to recover life when its turn comes. That proved to be a big advantage.

Game 2

The second game was the same was for low mana. I put a gladiator tank in front and magic attacker behind. My tank is a legendary gladiator and I thought that no tank in the Foundation can match it and I was right.

My opponent had a Foundation card tank and it was very weak when compared to legendary gladiator card. Even though my opponent had more cards, the strength of my tank carried me to victory.

Spending the Rewards

I have enough merits to buy two packs. There were no legendary cards but this still great. Even though there were no legendary or epic cards, I got two gold foils in return.

These are my gold foil cards. As a result of my rewards, one of them is about to upgrade to the next level.

Conclusion

We earned 3.444 merits and 30 SPS from the brawl. The reward is generous that we get just from joining and playing brawls. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
