Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Tasoshi Drakamoto!

in Splinterlands2 days ago

Greetings to Splinterlands players.I hope everyone is having a fantastic time in Splinterlands. Lately, the game has become even more thrilling with the release of Conclave Arcana, a brand new set of cards that's adding fresh strategy and excitement to the battlefield. To add more excitement to Conclave Arcana, two new promo cards are announced: Yaba's Pickle and Tasoshi Drakamoto. Tasoshi Drakamoto became available first in the Exclusive shop to be followed by Yaba's Pickle later. For my entry to this week's Community Engagement Challenge, it is about #TashoshiDrakamoto.

About Tasoshi Drakamoto

Part of Tashoshi Drakamoto's lore:

Some say she once trained with the Dragonsguard. Others claim she is a descendant of Shiimya Khapri, the first suam emperor, or that she is not Gloridax at all. No one knows for certain—not her lineage, her age, nor even if Tasoshi Drakamoto is her real name. Her past is a shadow, her face rarely seen, and her methods impossible to trace.

Tasoshi's lore as a mysterious assassin is interesting and one that could further be expanded in the future. It fits in her role as a sneak skill unit that kills the enemy from behind.

Where to buy Tashoshi

Tasoshi Drakamoto is available in the Exclusive Shop. One card can be bought for 250 vouchers. If we convert that to $, we can go to hive-engine and check the price of vouchers.

The last price of vouchers is $0.273282. If we calculate how much is 250 vouchers we will get roughly $6.83.

I think this is a fair price to pay for an exclusive card because Tasoshi has limited copies.

Looking at the market, Tasoshi is selling for $3.85. This is a great opportunity for players who want her to get her at a huge discount. I'm not sure why she is being sold far from voucher value. Maybe some whales who earned a lot of vouchers from SPS staking are chasing gold and black foils.

Tashoshi Statistics and Skills

For players in Bronze like me, level one offers 2 magic attack, 3 speed, 2 armor and 5 life. This is a good level for Bronze level players in my opinion. There is not much incentive in going for level 2 since Tashoshi will just get one more speed statistic. She has the sneak skill at level 1, attacking the enemy at the back. For Silver and Gold players, a level 3 has the skill Inspire. This skill will be good for a team with melee units. For competitive players who want more magic attack, level 4 gets an extra attack. Level 5 gets the Stun skill while the max level will get the Spite skill.

Which Teams for Tasoshi

Tasoshi is a fire magic unit with support skills for melee units. Too bad for me she doesn't get the Inspire skill at level 1. For players who will get a level 3, all fire melee units can be supported by her.

She can also support neutral melee units. Some units from the Rebellion and Conclave Arcana sets.

My Thoughts on Tasoshi

Tasoshi Drakamoto adds another magic user to the Fire element. For me, a level one unit with 2 magic attack is strong in Bronze. She also has a sneak skill that will target low life units in the back. For Bronze levels, I think Tasoshi is a strong unit.

For players who don't want to spend vouchers, it's a great opportunity to buy her from the market at a huge discount. At only $3.85, the price is close to half the voucher price of $6.83.
