Ava the Undaunted is one of my legendary cards. She was a reward card but unfortunately, is no longer available from the current pool of reward cards.
My copy is gold foil so she is already level two. She is one of my best cards and I often use her in battles. Being a legendary card, her battle stats are great.
Ranged damage - 3
Speed - 3
Armor - 3
Health - 6
Mana - 8
She has two abilities at level two that is very useful in battle.
Weapons Training - A strong ability that grants attack to support units with no attack.
Shatter - Successful attack destroys the target's armor.
Since Ava's damage is ranged, she has to be in the backline. If you have Fernheart as a summoner who grants the Close Range ability to all units, then it's possible to use Ava in the frontline.
Synergy Tips
Ava the Undaunted can work well in combination with other cards.
Fernheart - grants units the Close Range ability. It will be possible for Ava to take the tank role.
Thane Newsong is a no attack card in the green team that has the Inspire ability, giving units an additional melee attack. Ava can give him a ranged attack with her Weapons Training ability.
Clockwork Aide is a neutral no attack card that gives an additional speed to all units. The same case with Thane Newsong, Ava can give it ranged attack.
When to Use Ava the Undaunted
I use Ava in battles with high mana since her mana stat is eight. She is a great combo with Thane Newsong and other melee units.

In the battle, the mana is 99 so I can use all units the that I want without worry of mana cap. My green team was led by Lobb Lowland, a summoner that has the ability to summon gladiator cards like Quora Towershead in battle. The rest of my team was composed of:

Halaran Huntress is a melee card that can attack from any position.
Thane Newsong is a no attack card that gives buffs to melee units like Terraceous Hulk and Halaran Huntress.
Ava the Undaunted gives Thane Newsong three ranged damage with her Weapons Training ability.
Quillion Legionary is an archer that can play tank with its ability, Close Range.
Round 1 - My team killed the enemy tank.
Round 2 - Another enemy is killed but my Terraceous Hulk was also killed.
Round 3 - Quora took first position and killed the enemy Gargoya Devil. Her Bloodlust was triggered.
Round 4 - The rest of the enemy team were killed and the battle was over.
Another battle with 44 mana so I had a different tank and I used the Clockwork Aide instead of Thane Newsong.

The new team members in this battle are:
Terraceous Grunt is a common card with ten health.
Goblin Psychic is a magic unit that can heal the tank.
Clockwork Aide is a no attack unit that gives an additional speed to the team. It can get 3 ranged damage from Ava's Weapons Training.
Round 1 - The enemy is faster and attacked first. Goblin Psychic healed Terraceous Grunt and my team made the first kill.
Round 2 - The second enemy unit was killed but the enemy also killed my tank.
Round 3 - Quora takes the tank role.
Round 4 - Clockwork Aide got killed by Deep Lurker but Quora killed the enemy Diemonshark. Quora's bloodlust actived again.
Round 5 - More of the enemy units fell and the battle was over in the next round.
Ava the Undaunted is no longer available as a reward card. Players can buy her from the market if they want. The cheapest regular foil is selling for $7.33 in the market.
