Hello everyone, today I'm back with Splinterlands content. Although I don't think I'm bringing so much good news this time, I've been having a pretty bad time this last while playing Modern Ranked.
Hola a todos, hoy vuelvo con el contenido de Splinterlands. Aunque creo que esta vez no traigo tantas buenas noticias, la he estado pasando bastante mal en este último tiempo jugando Modern Ranked.
One of the only positive things about this week is that the season has ended, so I have a considerable amount of 100,000 GLINT to spend on reward cards.
Una de las únicas cosas positivas de esta semana es que ha finalizado la temporada, por lo que tengo una cantidad considerable de 100.000 GLINT para gastar en cartas de recompensa.
Normally I was spending all my GLINT on the cheapest chests or on common and rare cards to level them up. But I got to thinking that it may be a short time before the Rebellion Set cards are no longer given.
The problem is that I have almost no epics or legendaries from this SET, so maybe it's a good priority because these types of cards don't require such a high level to work so well. Unlike rare and common cards, which do need it.
So I made the decision to spend the GLINT on 8 epic cards to see if I would get lucky and be able to upgrade the ones I already had. I was hoping to accumulate at least 4 Halfling Refugee which is one of the most broken epic cards and can be had for as little as 1 mana.
Normalmente estaba gastando todo mi GLINT en los cofres más baratos o en cartas comunes y raras para ir subiendolas de nivel. Pero me puse a pensar que quizá falte poco tiempo para que las cartas del Set Rebellion no se den más.
El problema esta en que no tengo casi épicas o legendarias de este SET, por lo que quizá es una buena prioridad debido a que este tipo de cartas no requieren un nivel tan elevado para funcionar tan bien. A diferencia de las cartas raras y comunes, que si lo necesitan.
Asi que tome la decisión de gastarme el GLINT en 8 cartas épicas para ver si tenia suerte y podria mejorar las que ya tenia. Esperaba acumular al menos 4 de Halfling Refugee que es una de las cartas épicas más rotas y que se puede conseguir tan solo por 1 de mana.
I didn't get what I was looking for. However, at least I got a Gold Foil from Night Reaper, a card I didn't have until then.
I still had 40,000 GLINT left, so I thought I'd take a chance to see what legendary card I got.
No he obtenido lo que he buscado. Sin embargo, por lo menos he obtenido una Gold Foil de Night Reaper, carta queq hasta ese momento no tenia.
Aún me restaban 40.000 de GLINT, asi que pensé en arriesgarme para ver que carta legendaria me salia.
Again I was left with a bittersweet taste, because the Blackmoor Jinx card I already had, and it doesn't even help me to merge it to level 2, as I still need one more copy.
My last bet was on spending all the MERITS I've been accumulating to date, thanks to the store and T4 brawls rewards. So I bought 4 Gladius Case to try my luck.
Otra vez me quedó un sabor agridulce, porque la carta Blackmoor Jinx ya la tenía, y ni siquiera me sirve para fusionarla a nivel 2, ya que todavía necesito una copia más.
Mi ultima apuesta estaba en gastar todos los MERITS que he estado acumulando hasta la fecha, gracias a la tienda y las brawls rewards de T4. Por lo que he comprado 4 Gladius Case para probar suerte.
This opening has a more positive balance, I have obtained a legendary that I didn't have so far, although I don't know if it will be as useful as one of the Rebellion set.
With all that I had accumulated, I was going to check if I had available to merge some cards. However, I found myself with the bad news that of most of the epics, I was missing one to be able to level them up.
Este opening tiene un saldo más positivo, he obtenido una legendaria que hasta el momento no tenia, aunque no sé si me sera tan util como una del set Rebellion.
Con todo lo que habia acumulado, iba a fijarme si tenia disponible para fusionar algunas cartas. Sin embargo, me encontré con la mala noticia de que de las mayorias de las épicas, me faltaba una para poder subirlas de nivel.
It was time to talk about the beginning of this season. The truth is that at the end of last season I had rented a lot of high level cards to see if I could recover my situation. Every day I played, I was down 100-150 ELO points and it was getting pretty complicated for me.
I was doing so badly, that I got to the point where I was about to drop to Silver 1. Luckily, with a bit of strategy and taking advantage of the new collection I was able to stay at Gold 2 at the end of the season.
Llegó el momento de hablar sobre el inicio de esta temporada. Lo cierto, es que en el final de la última temporada habia alquilado un montón de cartas de nivel alto para ver si podia remontar mi situación. Cada dia que jugaba, bajaba 100-150 puntos de ELO y me estaba complicando bastante.
Me ha ido tan mal, que he llegado al punto de estar a punto de bajar hasta Plata 1. Por suerte, con un poco de estrategia y aprovechando la nueva colección pude mantenerme en Oro 2 a final de temporada.
The negative side of having finished in GOLD II, is that at the beginning of the new season I would be relegated to Silver 1. I had to get more than 200 points to be able to return to gold, a task that was going to be very difficult for me.
Lo negativo de haber terminado en GOLD II, es que al inicio de la nueva temporada descenderia hasta Plata 1. Tenia que conseguir más de 200 puntos para poder volver a oro, tarea que se me iba a complicar bastante.
I started the new season with some difficulties and went on a string of 3 or 4 losing streaks, which brought me down to Silver II. However, I managed to recover and I'm already back to Silver I. If all goes well, I hope to reach Gold rank again in the next few days.

Empecé la nueva temporada con algunas dificultades y encadené varias rachas de 3 o 4 derrotas, lo que me hizo bajar hasta Silver II. Sin embargo, logré recuperarme y ya estoy de vuelta en Silver I. Si todo sigue bien, espero alcanzar nuevamente el rango Oro en los próximos días.
