Today I'm back with content on the beloved Splinterlands game. In today's post, I'll be telling you about my progress this past weekend.

Hoy regreso con el contenido del querido juego Splinterlands. En la publicación de hoy, les estaré hablando de mi progreso en este último fin de semana.
In the previous post, I had been talking about how frustrated I was to start the season in Silver and how it was difficult to get out of that situation, because I was losing more and more.
Luckily, as I formed new strategies with my high-level deck that I rented, I started getting much better results in my battles.
After a constant cycle of wins and losses, I finally managed to string together five consecutive wins, regaining the coveted Gold rank and its rewards in GLINT and SPS.
En la anterior publicación, habia estado hablando sobre lo que me habia frustrado empezar la temporada en Silver y que veia dificil salir de esa situación, porque cada vez perdia más.
Por suerte, a medida que fui formando nuevas estrategias con mi mazo de alto nivel que alquilé, empecé a obtener muchos mejores resultados en mis batallas.
Tras un ciclo constante de victorias y derrotas, finalmente logré encadenar cinco triunfos consecutivos, recuperando el ansiado rango de Oro y sus recompensas en GLINT y SPS.
Going up to GOLD III, I got a few chests to open. I took the opportunity to go to the GLINT store and purchase a few potions to try my luck.
And luck was finally on my side: in those chests that had never rewarded properly, a legendary appeared, a prize that had so far resisted me.
Al subir a ORO III, obtuve unos cuantos cofres para abrir. Aproveché para ir a la tienda de GLINT y adquirir unas cuantas pociones para probar suerte.
Y la suerte finalmente estuvo de mi lado: en esos cofres que nunca habían recompensado adecuadamente, apareció una legendaria, un premio que hasta ahora se me había resistido.
I am currently at Gold 3, having reached Gold 2 twice this season. I am satisfied as there is an abysmal difference between rewards between ranks and at least on Gold III I get decent rewards.
This time I am playing with a rented deck which was expensive for me, around $8-10. However, the results are proving to be the same/worse than when I was competing with a mere $2-3 deck, with which I got to Diamond.
One of the things that worries me, is that there are only a few days left before the new card set comes out. The problem lies in the fact that I'm totally used to using Chaos cards because I don't have that many from the Rebellion set. That's going to make it difficult for me to keep climbing the ranks easily in the next few seasons.
Actualmente me encuentro en Oro 3, habiendo llegando a Oro 2 en dos oportunidades en esta temporada. Estoy satisfecho ya que hay una diferencia abismal entre recompensas entre rangos y por lo menos en Oro III obtengo recompensas decentes.
Esta vez estoy jugando con un mazo alquilado que me salió caro, alrededor de 8-10 dólares. Sin embargo, los resultados están siendo iguales/peores que cuando competía con un mazo de apenas 2-3 dólares, con el que llegué a Diamante.
Una de las cosas que me preocupa, es que quedan tan sólo pocos dias para que salga el nuevo set de cartas. El problema reside en que estoy totalmente acostumbrado a usar cartas Chaos debido a que no tengo tantas del set Rebellion. Eso va a dificultar que siga escalando rangos fácilmente en las próximas temporadas.
With the Glint I accumulated from the victories, I spent it on three epic cards to try my luck and finish upgrading one of my cards.

The opening was great for me, because I use the Halfling Refugee a lot due to its good stats and almost zero mana cost. I've accumulated four of these cards, so I've upgraded it to level 2: getting a +1 improvement to the attack.
Me ha venido genial la apertura, porque suelo utilizar mucho al Halfling Refugee debido a sus buenas estadisticas y costo casi nulo en maná. He acumulado cuatro de esas cartas, por lo que la he subido a nivel 2: obteniendo una mejora en +1 al ataque.
This Sunday I participated in a tournament organized by the streamer @clove71. The event was a great opportunity to give visibility to Rising Star, one of the games of the network that I have a special affection for. I couldn't miss it.
@clove71 offered good rewards for participating in the tournament, either in DEC or STARBITS (Rising Star's native token).
Este domingo participé en un torneo organizado por la streamer @clove71. El evento fue una gran oportunidad para darle visibilidad a Rising Star, uno de los juegos de la red al que le tengo un cariño especial. No podía faltar.
@clove71 ofreció buenas recompensas por participar en el torneo, ya sea en DEC o en STARBITS (el token nativo de Rising Star).
As often happens in direct elimination tournaments, many users do not make it to check-in, so fewer users participate.
I ended up going through by desk to the next round. Lately that's the only way I get a win in a tournament haha.
Como suele pasar seguido en los torneos por eliminación directa, muchos usuarios no llegan a hacer el check-in, por lo que los usuarios que participan resultan ser menos.
Termine pasando por escritorio a la siguiente ronda. Últimamente es la única forma en la que obtengo una victoria en un torneo jaja.
Luck was not with me, I was up against someone who had 1000 points more RATING than me and with a far superior deck. So he beat me in two of the battles, which allowed him to leave me eliminated from the tournament in the second round.
At least, I got 100 DEC for free for participating in the tournament, so it was worth.
La suerte no me acompañó, me tocó con alguien que tenia 1000 puntos más de RATING que yo y con una deck ampliamente superior. Asi que me ganó en dos de las batallas, lo que le permitio dejarme eliminado del torneo en segunda ronda.
Al menos, he obtenido 100 DEC gratis por participar en el torneo, asi que fue worth.
