Hello, everyone! How are you? Today I'm back with more content from one of my favorite Hive games: Splinterlands.
Today I'll be sharing some of what I've been accumulating over this time, so it will be a very interesting post. Without further ado, let's get started!

For those who haven't been following, over the past few weeks I've been investing all my GLINT in chests. My goal was to get enough energy to keep earning SPS and maybe get some interesting cards that might come out.
With the hundreds of chests I opened, plus all the Guild Brawls I had played so far, I managed to reach a number of Merits I had never had before: 92,000.

With that amount, I was able to make a pretty big opening of Gladius Cases and get an insane amount of cards from the Gladiator set, which never hurts.
I started by opening 20 cards at a time, and honestly, I got incredibly lucky. I got my first Gold Foil legendary card from the Gladiator set and two more legendary cards. I don't know what the odds are of this happening, but they're very low.

To finish up the opening, I ended up opening the last 25 Gladius Cases, hoping to be as lucky as I was in the first opening.
I wasn't quite as lucky, but I did manage to get some Gold Foils, Epics, and another Legendary, so I'm ending this opening on a pretty positive note.

Thanks to this opening, I have obtained a huge number of cards from the Gladiator set, in addition to those I had been accumulating for some time. So it was time to start improving my cards...
I started with one of the most useful cards, Chimney Wallstop. It has excellent base stats and the ability to attack in melee from the second position, making it an excellent choice whenever I play a fire element deck. This time, its attack has been improved by +1, making it even more powerful.

The next card is Krash Wanderford, a card with low mana cost and excellent stats to hold down the front line. I usually only use him in battles where I have limited mana and want a good tank up front.
By leveling him up to level 4, I've gained a pretty interesting ability that allows him to deal a little damage back every time he's attacked in melee combat.

Sarius is another fire element card from the Gladiator set. It is a low mana cost card but does not have very good stats, added to which it is a card that has no abilities and has ranged attack.

Alva The Crusher is a water element card with decent stats for its mana cost. Honestly, it's never an option in my games because for that mana cost, I usually have much better options.
At least it has managed to increase its melee attack by +1, making it a little more useful.

The same goes for Isgald Vorst, another card with a mana cost that doesn't compensate for its stats. At least it's melee and can attack from any position, although I think there are better options in the Chaos set, such as Pelacor Bandit, which does much more damage and is cheaper.
By upgrading to level 4, Isgald Vorst has gained +1 to its maximum health. To be honest, the only thing that would be useful is if it had more damage or abilities that made the card more useful.

Alfredo is one of the only normal water cards I usually use in battles, especially those where mana is quite limited, as it's an excellent choice.
By upgrading it to level 3, it has gained a +1 improvement in its ranged attack, making it even more powerful.

Relenor Cleaver is one of the only cards I use from the Gladiator set, as it has very good base stats for attacking from the second position. I don't have much else to say about this card, as it's a carbon copy of Marisol Contuma or Chimney Wallstop.

To finish off today's card improvements, we have Edith Emberstar. It's a card with a fairly high mana cost and “decent” stats. I would really play it in a battle where mana is unlimited and I don't have the option of playing Relenor Cleaver.

I still have many cards left to upgrade from the Gladiator set, but I want to leave that for another post because otherwise this one will get quite long. Today I finished upgrading all the fire and water element cards I've accumulated, and in my next post I'll finish upgrading the rest of the elements I have left.
Thank you very much for reading, see you next time!
