Hello, everyone! Today I'm back with another contribution to Splinterlands' Social Media Challenge initiative. This time, I'll be sharing some bad news from my first few days of the season.
¡Saludos a todos! Hoy vuelvo con otra participación en la iniciativa de Social Media Challenge de Splinterlands. Esta vez estaré contandoles algunas malas noticias de mis primeros dias de temporada.
For those who didn't read my previous post, I've picked up Splinterlands again after taking a month-and-a-half break from playing.
I wanted to take a break for a few weeks after playing for several months. My idea is to be consistent in order to get as many rewards as possible, at least in terms of reward cards and SPS.
So far, I haven't sold anything and have been accumulating my rewards, but the idea is that if I invest about $10 per season, I'll at least receive them in the form of cards and SPS.
Para el que no leyó mi anterior publicación, he retomado un poco con Splinterlands desde que me tomé un descanso de mes y medio sin jugar.
Queria tomarme un descanso de unas cuantas semanas, después de haber estado jugando por unos cuantos meses. Mi idea es tener constancia para sacarle la mayor cantidad de recompensas posibles, al menos en cartas de recompensa y SPS.
Hasta el momento, no he vendido nada y he estado acumulando mis recompensas, pero la idea es que si invierto por temporada unos 10 dólares, al menos recibirlos en forma de cartas y de SPS.
In my last season, I finished in the Gold III rank, where I was receiving a pretty juicy reward in terms of SPS and GLINT.
I thought that after my absence of several months, I would end up in Silver II in the seasons I didn't play. However, that wasn't the case, and luckily I didn't have to start climbing from scratch. So it's a good mechanic to not send players who have reached high ranks in their last days back to the beginning.
En mi ultima temporada he terminado en el rango Oro III dónde estaba recibiendo una recompensa bastante jugosa en cuanto a SPS y GLINT.
Pensaba que tras mi ausencia de varios meses, iba a terminar en Plata II en las temporadas que no jugué. Sin embargo, no fue así, y por suerte no tuve que empezar a escalar desde cero. Asi que es una buena mecanica para no mandar de vuelta al inicio a jugadores que han llegado a rangos altos en sus ultimos dias.
The start of this new season after a period of inactivity has been absolutely terrible. To begin with, I haven't been investing time in the game during the first few days, so I've been running on full energy for quite a while, wasting the opportunity to earn rewards in SPS and GLINT.
The summoners I've hired for this season are good, but I don't have a variety of cards that massively increase their stats for their level, so I'm not getting much of an advantage in lower ranks like Silver.
With the worst attitude, I might have thought I would stay in Silver II and Silver I for the entire season, but it was worse than that. After a string of defeats and some battles where I didn't even field a team, I ended up dropping to Bronze I.
El inicio de esta nueva temporada luego de un tiempo de inactividad, ha sido absolutamente malo. Empezando por que los primeros dias no he estado invirtiendo tiempo en el juego, por lo que me he pasado con la energia llena durante bastante tiempo, desperdiciando la oportunidad de obtener recompensas en SPS y GLINT.
Los invocadores que he alquilado para esta temporada son buenos, pero no tengo una variedad de cartas que aumenten masivamente sus estadísticas por su nivel, asi que no estoy teniendo mucha ventaja en rangos inferiores como Plata.
Con la peor actitud, podria haber pensado de que me mantendria durante toda la temporada en Plata II y Plata I, pero fue peor que eso, luego de una racha de derrotas y algunas batallas que no he llegado a presentar equipo, he terminado desciendiendo a Bronce I.
The rewards I'm getting for winning in Bronze are terrible, and the truth is that I deserve it for having dropped to this rank where probably only novices play, or even less than that.
This bad start has demotivated me quite a bit, because I feel like I'm losing against bots in a situation where I have equal or even superior cards. The truth is that I'm not taking as much time as before to think about the strategy for each battle, but it's not like I have a wide variety of cards to surprise my opponents with.
I don't know how the situation will unfold over the next few days, but I hope I can turn things around so that I can at least get some GLINT this season and spend it on common and rare cards that need immediate improvement.
Las recompensas que estoy obteniendo por victoria en Bronce son pauperrimas y la verdad es que me lo merezco por haber bajado hasta este rango dónde probablemente jueguen los novatos o ni siquiera eso.
Este inicio malo me ha desmotivado bastante, porque siento que estoy perdiendo contra bots en una situación de igualdad de condiciones en cuanto a cartas o incluso superior. Lo cierto es que tampoco me estoy tomando tanto tiempo como antes para pensar la estrategia de cada batalla, pero tampoco es que tenga mucha variedad de cartas para sorprender.
No sé como seguira la situación durante estos dias, pero espero poder remontar todo esto para poder al menos llevarme algo de GLINT esta temporada y gastarlo en cartas comunes y raras que estan precisando una mejora inmediata.
