My new collection in Splinterlands: Wellsworn Spectre

Those who play the Splinterlands game regularly know how much fun it is to add a new card to your collection. Especially when you buy a unique card from the market, you start thinking about it in different ways. Today, I bought this epic card called Wellsworn Spectre after much thought. I currently have it at level one. Since I got the card, I have studied its design and capabilities for a long time. From that experience, I am sharing some things about the card in my own way today.

This card is basically a card of the Water element. Its mana cost in the gameplay is 6. It can be a very useful option for those who play in medium mana games. When you look at the card, its magic attack is noticeable at the beginning. At one level, it has 2 magic attacks, and speed is 2. However, its health is only 3, which can be a bit scary. Because it will be quite challenging to keep it alive from the opponent's slicer or snipe attack. But its real power is hidden in its ability.

At one level, Wellsworn Spectre has a special ability called Bloodline Tribute. I found this ability very interesting. This means that when this card is defeated in battle, all other units of the same bloodline on my team will get 1 health, speed and armour bonus. Not only that, if there is a shared attack type, 1 power will also be added there. In simple words, this card will strengthen the rest of the team even if it loses. So it should be placed in a position in the line so that after it is defeated, the rest of the units can take advantage of that advantage and snatch victory.

As the level of the card increases, it becomes much more dangerous. For example, after going to level two, it gets the Amplify ability. This ability increases the damage of the team's Retaliate, Magic Reflect, or Thorns by one step. In addition, the Weakened ability is added at level three, which reduces the health of all enemy units. At the highest level, i.e. level six, you get a wonderful ability called Invigorate, which prevents anyone on the team from being exhausted. Although I only have one level card now, its future seems quite good if you think about it as an investment.

The current price of the card in the market is around $ 0.47. Considering the circulation and epic category of the card, the price seems quite reasonable to me. Usually, the price of such cards increases over time because when new rule sets of the game come out, these cards can change the game. This can be a must-have card, especially for those who like to decorate undead-themed decks.

When I enter the battlefield with this card, my main goal will be to use it as a supporting role. Since its magic attack directly attacks the opponent's health, it is quite effective. However, due to its poor health, it is not a good idea to keep it in the front row. It should be placed in the middle or in a position where it can survive for at least a few rounds and deal damage. And when it dies, its Bloodline Tribute ability should pave the way for the rest of my troops to win.

According to the current meta of the game, the importance of magic attacks in water units is always high. I think that if you can use this card with the right strategy, it will be much easier to win ranked matches. I have been quite excited about it since I bought it. I intend to collect some more copies of it in the future and increase the level. However, for now, I am ready to test its performance at one level. Every card in Splinterlands has a story, and Wellsworn Spectre started a new story in my collection. Those who have not seen this card yet can check it out. It can make your deck much stronger for a small investment. In my opinion, choosing such cards wisely in the game is the true essence of a skilled player. I will experiment with my deck some more and try to make the most of this card. Overall, I am quite happy with this purchase for now. Hopefully, it will not let me down on the battlefield.
