It’s a fun experience to constantly learn new card strategies and apply them in battle in Splinterlands. Recently, while participating in a Guild Battle, I had the opportunity to encounter and use a card whose effectiveness is truly commendable. The card is called Katrelba Gobson. It is a Gladiator card and part of Earth Splinter. Although it does not have direct play rules in normal ranked matches, today we will discuss in detail how it can turn the tide of the match in Guild Battles.

First, let’s talk about the basic aspects of this card. Katrelba Gobson is a 6 mana cost Melee attacker card. Its appearance in the game is quite nice: a brave green goblin warrior wearing goggles on his head, holding a sharp knife. The card I used in the battle was a level 4 card. At this level, the card has an attack power of 3, a speed of 3, and a total life or health of 4. The card does not have any armour of its own. Although its health seems a bit low at first glance, its real power is hidden in its special abilities or abilities.

This card has a combination of three excellent abilities that make it quite dangerous for the opponent. The first ability is Sneak. Because of this ability, Cutrelba Gibson directly targets the last card in the back line, rather than attacking the strong defender or tank in the opponent's front line. Usually, the opponent's back line contains relatively weak but important cards, which help in controlling the match. As a result, it is possible to easily disable those cards in the back line with this sneak ability.

The second important ability is Double Strike. Due to this ability, the card gets the opportunity to attack twice in each round instead of once. Although its normal attack power at level 4 is 3, it can deal a total of 6 damage by hitting twice in each round. If the opponent's card does not have any special protection, then this double strike can completely destroy the opponent's back row card in one round.

Now let's come to its most wonderful and one of the main abilities, which is called Bloodlust. The special feature of Gladiator cards is this Bloodlust ability. Its rule is that whenever this card knocks out or kills an opponent's card, all its own stats or abilities will increase by 1 point. That is, its attack power, speed, and health will all increase one by one. While it can easily kill any weak card behind it with the help of Sneak and Double Strike, it becomes even more powerful with each round due to Bloodlust.

As the card increases in level, its power increases further. For example, when it reaches level 5, it gains a new ability called Snare, which is quite effective against flying cards. Again, when it reaches level 9, it gains the ability Piercing, through which it is possible to directly damage the opponent's armour even if it has it. At the maximum level of 10, its basic attack power reaches 4, and speed reaches 5, which becomes incredibly effective in combination with Double Strike and Bloodlust.

However, it is important to be careful about some things when using this card. Since the card only has 4 health and no armour, it can get hurt when faced with the opponent's Thorns or Thorny Defence. It can also be easily targeted by other Sneak or Opportunity cards. For this reason, when using Cutrelba Gibson in battle, it is a good idea to have a summoner or support card in the team that will help protect it with extra speed or armour.
Overall, Cutrelba Gibson is a very useful option to use in guild battles. If you can plan it properly and place it in the right position, it can easily take control of the entire match. After understanding the functionality of this card, it has added a new dimension to my gameplay, and I hope it will perform well in future battles.
