Those who regularly play the game Splinterlands know very well how exciting it is to check the daily rewards in this world. Sometimes sky-high joy, sometimes a little sadness—all of it is the purpose of this game. Today, too, my day started with the ever-familiar 'Fortune Battle'. To be honest, when I complete the battles every day, a strange stubbornness works in my mind. When 3 packs and 9 draw entries were deposited in my pocket as rewards after completing today's mission, my chest was a little heaving.
The addiction of gamers is such that after receiving the reward, there is no peace until you open it. I went straight to the 'Mana Well' section. I took a deep breath as I saw the packs stacked next to my username 'MIRZAIQI'. I always check my Legendary and Alchemy Potions before opening a pack. I had them on today, because who knows if I'll get a Gold Foil card today! 3 packs means at least a chance of 15 cards. I decided to open the packs one by one.
When I revealed the first pack, I was honestly a little overwhelmed. 'Hungry Ulund', 'Ember Roast Sow', 'Spitting Camel', 'Grand Consul Minion' and 'Scales of Justice' appeared on the screen. Although 'Scales of Justice' is a Rare card, the rest were quite ordinary. I thought, not everything can be found in the first pack, maybe there is something better ahead.
Then I opened the second pack. As I was flipping through the cards one by one, 'Frankarsgard', 'Colossus Raider', 'Dread Tafarian', 'Black Widow' and 'Moros Malik' came one by one. In this pack too, I got a rare card, 'Moros Malik'. But to be honest, I felt a little sad after not getting anything special in two packs in a row. It seemed like today might not be a good day for my luck. I was comforting myself by thinking that I don't need a jackpot every day anymore.
However, the real fun of the game was hidden in the very last pack. There was only one pack left in my hand. When I opened it as a last attempt, my eyes went to the very last position when the cards were revealed. Suddenly, a beautiful purple-framed card appeared on the screen—'Lady Amara'. Immediately, all the clouds in my mind seemed to disappear. This is an 'Epic' card! When I saw that royal face of Lady Amara in position number 5, I realised that the day had not been wasted at all.
The Lady Amara card is not only beautiful to look at, but its stats are also quite useful. This 6 mana Elf card has 1 magic attack, 6 health and 1 armour. This card will play a great role in strengthening my deck. Although I was dreaming of a big legendary, getting an epic card at the last minute is no less! Not every day is the same, so I am happy with what I got.
It feels good to share this bittersweet experience of opening the entire pack with you. As gamers, we know that these small achievements give us the strength to fight on the battlefield every day. Win or lose, the mysterious world of Splinterlands always keeps us waiting for something new. Today may not have been a big day, but this surprise from Lady Amara brought a smile to my face.
