I admit i did not really like playing frontier mode at all at the beginning. It seemed you will often confront the same lineup a lot of draws etc. But with higher levels and more cards it reminded me of the old splinterlands and gave me some nostalgic feelings.
So what is the best card. Good question. When you start playing Frontier you will probably go with Death in most playable cases because it is just really good with the health reduce and with this dude
which is really strong ... at least on the begining.
For poison matches you will probably play green with
and the cleanse from
At the begin fire and life feels really week!
If you then earn more cards you might play blue a lot due to
High magic damage and a speed gain ... a no brainer.
It will win vs. most teams and still struggle with Death. Especially if this card levels up:
On level 2 it will help you vs. most death decks, that don't have it yet. Simply because it can hurt Nim Guard Captain.
I play frontier on multiple accounts. I am in gold on all my accounts. Since i try to keep my accounts on the same level most of my accounts own lvl 2 summoners.
So this are in my opinion game changing cards:
One of the best cards for sure. High dmg health and speed.
Important for high mana and snipe battles
For sure one of the best green cards. A great supporter.
A very good card esp. in blue vs. blue. The divine shield helps a lot!
