Hello Players and fans,
The group stage is now deciding moment - round 3 matches are being played. It's high time to reveal plans for the playoffs.
Good news for everyone - out of 36 players, 6 are not active. It means that all active players qualify to the playoffs. Additionally, the two best players from the group stage get free lots in the Round of 32.
Playoffs
Mode of Play
A table will be formed, sorted by:
- place in group after 3 matches (ascending)
- points (descending)
- total score (descending; "For" column in ranking table)
- position in @macfit Ranking before the tournament (ascending)
Players will be paired following the scheme 1 vs 32, 2 vs 31 (...) 16 vs 17.
Since there are inactive players in some groups, I can already reveal some players who will finish 1st and 2nd.
The order will of course change, as players finish their 3rd rounds of matches. I think it's safe to say that @new.things will be the best player after Group Stage. @sk1920 and @manuvert will vie for the second best (@merthin has already played his 3rd game, so his score is final and he will move down the table).
