Season 23: Match Day 1 Fixtures — WeAreAliveAndSocial

Good day,

It is my pleasure to announce the kick-off of Season 23. The first match day of the League Stage is on this coming Friday, August 1.

We will play in the 'UEFA Champions League'-like format. 28 players divided into 7 pots. Each player will face 7 opponents (all seeded as #1 in their pots will play against those seeded as #4 and #2 is paired with #3).

Scores are based on @actifit Step Count for the match day. The score is:

Score = [StepCount / 1000]

Score rounded to nearest integer; 0.5 is rounded up to 1.

The winner of a match takes 3 points, the losing side 0. A draw is worth 1pt for each side.

After 7 Match Days, the top 8 players will advance directly to the Playoffs, Round of 16 and will be seeded there. Players ranked in places 9-24, will play an additional Knock-out round and its winners will join the R16.
