I thought there was a tube of war nickels around here somewhere. Not sure where they are now though. They must have walked off. Haven't seen them in a long time. I always found them and the steel wheat cent interesting parts of coin history from WWII.

        Nice! Yeah, I thought it was interesting that nickel was considered such a strategic metal for the war they substituted silver of all things.
