I have "more than two" guns as well and enjoy them very much. Like you, though, "love" is a bit strong of a word to describe how I feel about them. I've actually whittled down how many I have as I've decided I really didn't shoot my AK47 that often, and I really don't need thre pump shotguns.

Honestly, I can overlook the stupid questions as they're mainly coming from pure ignorance of firearms. Probably the dumbest question I heard was a retelling of a story told to me by a gentleman who worked in the Sporting Goods department at Walmart. A lady asked to handle a rifle. She started moving it around, pointing it at people. He quickly grabbed the barrel, pointed it at the ceiling, and grabbed the rest of the rifle from her. When she saw the magazine well, she loudly asked, "Oh, is that where the batteries go?" 🤦‍♂️

One of the things I'm really careful with is having firearms that are superfluous to my needs; I don't seem much point in having multiple firearms that perform the same tasks, except for my back-ups of course. So, if something doesn't get used or can be replaced with something else then it's moved on; the same goes with potential new purchases - it has to make sense.

Lol...batteries? People are so dumb at times...although most people are so clueless with firearms that I guess it makes sense they say dumb-ass stuff like that.

One thing I find so amusing (and pathetic) is firearms handling and usage on TV and movies and all...I don't know who they hire to teach the actors but it's (mostly) just laughable.
