As a photographer I keep getting asked "Oh why haven't you shifted to mirrorless? It's the trend right now". Sometimes even some clients go like "Aren't mirrorless the thing now? Why are we paying you so much if you're not going to shoot with a mirrorless".
And I have come to a stage where I have stopped defending myself as to why I still don't own a mirrorless or why I don't feel the need to shift to one.
I remember back in the days it used to be "Do you have those big white lens" 😂
Sometimes when people say stuff like that to me I come back with a ridiculous answer.
That may asay:
"Why aren't you on Facebook?"
Sometimes I respond with, Facebook? What's that, I've not heard of it, and have a totally straight face when I say it.
They look at me like I'm fucken bonkers...but it usually stops any further questions or discussion on the topic.
The more ridiculous you make your answer the better, but you need to have a straight face when you say it, as if you actually mean it.
