Greeting Fellow Summoners
As usual for every weekend here on Hive, I make a couple of Splinterlands posts. Today is about the time to start getting a new Epic reward cards for my deck. I am talking about the Conclave Arcana reward card edition, the one that we can buy with the GLINTS from the reward shop.
I have 348.627 GLINT points now, it is quite a number for a casual gamer like me and I know some of you might have 3x or 4x of me every seasons, because you play at Diamond or Champion league.
Getting the Epic sooner is something that very important for me. I want to get some competitive advantages from the cards that I own before others. Or you can twist the point of view, I just do not want to lose because I am not familiar or I do not own those cards.
Anyway those are cool skins. Honestly I want to get some, but right now I see them as major distraction. I need to shape up my deck first, I am not a heavy spender anyway so I have to know my limit.
This is quite bad, I can not buy all the 25 cards from the first batch. My GLINT only allow me to get 23 cards. The worst thing is that I see the odds for Gold Foil card is only 1%. I will add alchemys potions however max rate I can get for Gold Foil card is still 2%.
I have only 2% odds from 23 cards, it is not something that guarantee I will get one copy of Gold Foil. This is a big gamble, If I do not get one, this could be my last EPIC cards purchase lol.
We only live once and no pain no gain... brave myself here...

I can say that because the second card I have pulled out today is a gold foil one, the VOSS. This is not the best Epic card but of course all Gold Foil epic card is welcomed here.
I get another Gold foil card on my 13th card. Kazira Vaelstrik, a dragon element card. This seems to be a very interesting card, however I get many of her regular foil copies here.
Getting 2 gold foil cards from this Epic purchase should be a great one. After a bad common purchase and a bad rare purchaase, finally there is a good one today.
My Epic Selection
I do not have many Epic Cards here, in term of Conclave Arcana reward edition. I play on silver league, come on, don't expect me to spend millions of GLINT every season lol.
These are all the selection I have for Conclave Arcana Reward card edition. There is a card that I do not have any copies. It's Tandi Janda. So my road to finisih this rarity is still a long one.
Ok let see the good side, we can talk about some cards that I have got today.
I am having a hard time to say something about VOSS. I think this is a bad card, in general. The only good thing on him is the Bloodline Tribute. So if I employ him into my line up, I need to make him dies first before my team get stronger. However I do not see Avian race/bloodline that I frequently use.
I try to be positive here, maybe the next edition will have many Avian bloodline and it will make VOSS becomes more significant. But seriously, Avian is a bird right? What kind of bird this one because he has no flying ability lol.
Honestly I want to sell him for $8.9 right now and buy other more significant card than him.
Kazira Vaelstrik, damn I am struggling just for remember that name and make sure I am not mispelling it. In my opinion she is a strong one, not in general but in certain rulesets or modifiers. She can fly and she has immunity, so during earthquake and noxius fume modifiers, she will excell because she won't take any damage at all from the modifiers.
However I notice well too that Kazira Vaelstrik is not some card that we can spam use her. In general she is decent, but not some powerful 10 mana card. Maybe if I reach the 3rd level and get the close range ability, my perception on her can shift.
Ok let see the regular foil one. I think I have one card that I can level up right now.
Another bloodline tribute card. I am not a fan of this kind of card, the one that must die first before it can be useful. Well she has that amplify ability right now, maybe she could help the magic reflect units. Water element does not have many thorn ability holder anyway.
Ok those are the card puchase I have made today. I am happy it is a happy ending for me and I hope this could encourage fellow casual gamers out there to join in getting the reward cards from the shop.
