From the first day I joined the #vibes community, I realized it's not just a place of music but more than just that. It's a place to appreciate music, learn, improve, socialize, get inspired and impacted.
In this post, I'll be reviewing this special performance by @verbal-d, as I'll also go ahead to emphasize on how that music performance has impacted and inspired me.
REVIEW
Whenever one talks about music, there are certain potentials that can't be left. Music potential basically lies in its power to improve physical and mental health, boosting mood and memory, serving as a tool for personal expressions, self discovery and fostering social connections. This can all be seen by the performance by one of our greatest judges in the Vibes community, Verbal-d.
Being able to produce such an amazing original song has proved the power of music in improving mental health and boosting memory.
While watching the performance, I was marvelled because the energy he invested is unmatchable. This has also proved music has the ability to improve physical health and boost mood.
Music as a tool for personal expressions can be seen in the verses 1 and 2 of his performance where he expressed what fatherhood means to him[V1] and went on to assure his sweet daughter fatherly protection [verse 2].
Through music, Verbal-d has massively displayed his love for his daughter Harmony, to everyone who has come across this post. Music is indeed a building block for social connections.
How I'm Impacted
When I started developing signs of puberty, my Dad began to see me as an adult, lol. He used to tell me that fatherhood isn't an easy thing. This music performance has in some way influenced my mentality about fatherhood. Seeing Verbal-d having a sweet family like this kind of gives me hope of having such when it's time. I'm sure it's not only me that's impacted by this music performance because it's really an amazing one from him.
How I'm Inspired
Verbal-d is a good friend of mine and whenever I see him perform music, he's always inspiring to become a better person. The two persons I won't forget are Verbal-d and Kmichealson
These two individuals have motivated me or rather inspired me to sit down and craft an original song which I'll be performing probably on Week 42 if it's a theme-free week. This will be the first time I'm ever performing an original song for the Vibes music contest and my inspiration comes from their performances.
