Greetings to all Splinterlands players and hive gaming community! I'm pleased to report Pizza A Slice of Madness brawl. We are a guild that plays for fun, competitions and rewards. We play in the weekly guild brawls where we compete with other guilds. Here is our battle report for the week.
Overall Guild Rank: First Place!
I'm pleased to report that we got the top rank. We won 120 games, 12 more than second place guild, Goat Monsters. We got new recruits that helped us in the brawls.
Top Brawl Participants and my Rank
I had eight wins and only one loss, landing in third to twelfth place performer in our guild. There were two members who had perfect scores. These strong performances helped our guild reached the top.
Selected Games
Here I present a couple of the games that I won.
Game 1
The first game was a Global Warming modifier. Whenever the modifiers are like this, my first choice is Earth because it has a card with Cleanse skill. My team was composed of Quora Towershead at first. Her healing skill is important in this game. Second is Mad Gearhead who has Reach skill. His six health will also keep him in the game. Last is Time Bandit whose Cleanse skill is crucial in this game. Curiously my opponent chose Life. It's +1 armor does not help in the burning status. One of his units have flying that does not keep him in battle in burning modifier. It also has very low life stat and died quickly.

Game 2
Next game was a Melee Mayhem modifier. Only Fire element was available. My cards were a combination of melee and archers because I had archers that have high attacks. My opponent had mostly melee, an archer and a card with no attack. My cards had the higher attack and won the game with ease.

Game 3
The last game was an Arcane Dampening Modifier but I still picked the Water element. My opponent chose Death but also had magic units that didn't gave him any advantage. His gladiator card was a legendary against my common but in this game, my gladiator card was more effective.

Spending the Rewards
I bought two packs and got only commons and rares again. It's getting annoying that I still can't get a legendary. I've been playing for months and I still don't have any legendary card.
For consolation, I upgraded three cards. Two were common and one was a rare. At least, there's progress with my collection.
Conclusion
We earned 4,500 merits and 37 SPS from the brawl. It's the highest rewards we received getting first place. With regular brawls, it adds to my weekly SPS stake. I'm grateful to the Pizza guild for accepting me as a member and gave me a regular spot to join the brawls and earn rewards.
