The importance of Guild Brawl and Gladiator cards in the Splinterlands gaming world is immense. Those who play this game regularly know that these Gladiator cards are much more powerful than ordinary cards, and they work like a trump card in winning Brawls. Today, I will share with you a personal experience of mine, where I opened four Guild Packs or Gladius Cases at once. I will present this entire process and my exciting moments to you step by step today.

To buy Gladius Cases, first of all, we have to go to the ‘Guild Store’. To buy from this store, you need merits or ‘Merits’, which are usually earned by participating in Guild Brawls. You can see in the screenshot that I had 10,584 merits. Using these merits, I decided to buy my four packs today. Each Gladius case costs 2000 Merits. So, my total cost for the four packs is 8000 Merits.

But not only buying the packs, but you also need some magical stones to increase your chances of getting good cards. I bought 20 ‘Blood Stones’ to boost my luck a little more. This stone doubles the chances of getting ‘Legendary’ cards among the gladiator cards. As you can see in the screenshot, I collected 20 Blood Stones by spending 1100 Merits.

Along with the Blood Stones, I also bought 15 ‘Power Stones’. The function of these Power Stones is to double the chances of getting Gold Foil cards. Since Gladiator cards are not Soulbound or tradable, collecting Gold Foil cards is a great source of pride and helps in increasing status points. It cost me 1110 Merits. After completing the purchase, I was ready for that desired moment.

The opening scene of the pack always seems very exciting to me. When the golden cards floated out of a dark, well-like place, I was just praying in my heart that I would get a good Epic or Legendary card. I couldn't wait to see what was hidden behind these 5 mysterious cards.

A smile came to my face as soon as I opened the first pack. Because from the first pack, I got a wonderful Epic card, called 'Edith Emberstar'. It is a powerful ranged attack card of 8 mana. It was accompanied by a rare card like 'Orella Abadon'. The first pack really met my expectations and boosted my confidence.

The second pack was even more amazing. In this pack, I got two rare cards and an epic card. The two rare cards were ‘Orella Abadon’ and ‘Alfredo’. And the epic card was ‘Gorth’. The Gorth card is famous for its 8 mana and 5 powerful melee attacks. It was really lucky to get three good quality cards in the same pack.

When I opened the third pack, my luck didn’t disappoint either. Here I got a rare card called ‘Ajax Lightfoot’. In addition, the common cards were ‘Chimney Wallstop’ and ‘Isgald Vorst’. Although these cards are common, they play a special role in winning brawls, especially in low-mana and mid-mana battles.

Finally, it's time to open the fourth pack. In this pack, I got another great epic card—'Marisol Contuma'. It is a 9 mana melee card that can cause fear in the minds of opponents in the Brawl arena. It was accompanied by 'Orella Abadon' (Rare) and some other common cards. By opening these four packs, I got a total of three epic and four rare cards, which further enriched my card collection.

Today's pack opening session was very fruitful for me. When you get such powerful cards by accumulating guild merits, the enthusiasm to fight in Brawl increases even more. My advice to those of you who play Splinterlands regularly—collect your merits and open the pack using Blood Stone and Power Stone together. This greatly increases the chances of getting good cards. Be sure to let me know how you liked today's short trip. See you again at the next Battle Ground!
