This time, I woke up with a very clear objective: find the local dungeons. In this game, if you aren't hunting down dungeons, you aren't progressing, since that's where the fragments to repair the Ruins of Light are hidden. I left the shelter early in the morning and set out to explore. Right outside the base, near the central lagoon of the area, I had to deal with yet another bipedal aquatic monster. At this point, they are more of an annoying routine check than an actual threat.

I spent the entire day scouting the map, only to realize something frustrating: there is literally no dungeon anywhere to be found. I went around the entire perimeter, gathering plenty of resources like flint, iron, berries, wood, and even some chests... but no sign of a cave entrance. It's weird. Usually, the game layout drops a dungeon on you sooner, but this map is being difficult.

While peeing around the area and looking for the entrance, I had to fight off the usual local pests: wild boars and those greedy goblin treasure hunters. By the time the sun started to set and the shadows began to spawn, I had no choice but to head back to camp and sleep off the frustration.

Before I pack up and move to a completely different zone, my plan is to craft some better gear with the iron and flint I just hauled and make sure I didn't miss a hidden corner. I can push deeper into the forest later, but first, I need to thoroughly comb this area to make absolutely sure I didn't leave anything behind.

Esta vez me desperté con un objetivo bastante claro: encontrar las mazmorras de la zona. En este juego, si no estás cazando mazmorras, no estás progresando, ya que ahí es donde se esconden los fragmentos para reparar las Ruinas de Luz. Salí del refugio muy temprano por la mañana y me dispuse a explorar. Nada más dejar el campamento, cerca de la laguna central de la zona, me tocó lidiar con otro monstruo acuático bípedo. A estas alturas, ya son más una rutina molesta que una amenaza real.

Estuve recorriendo todo el mapa durante el día para terminar dándome cuenta de algo frustrante: literalmente parece no haber ninguna mazmorra por ningún lado. Rodeé todo el perímetro y lo único que encontré fueron vastos recursos: pedernal, hierro, bayas, madera y algunos cofres... pero ni rastro de una entrada. Es raro. Normalmente el diseño del juego te suelta una mazmorra antes, pero este mapa se está poniendo difícil.

Mientras peinaba la zona buscando la entrada, tuve que enfrentarme a las plagas locales de siempre: jabalíes y los codiciosos duendes cazadores de tesoros. Para cuando empezó a anochecer y las sombras de la noche comenzaron a salir, no tuve más opción que volver al campamento a dormir y pasar la frustración.

Antes de empacar y moverme a otra zona completamente distinta, mi plan será craftear algunas cosas mejores con el hierro y el pedernal que acabo de recolectar, y asegurarme de no haber pasado por alto algún rincón oculto. Puedo adentrarme más en el bosque después, pero primero hace falta peinar bien esta área para estar absolutamente seguro de que no dejé nada atrás.
