Why Colony and Orbitals are Important

First, let's talk about the colony and orbitals. So, in Moonkart games, the rewards are based on different aspect.
#1.The ranked leaderboard. On this aspect, rewards are given based on your position at the leaderboard. The only things that matter on this ranked leaderboard is the ranked point which you will get for winning the match on 1st or 2nd position. You don't have to collect orbitals or colony on the race for the ranked leaderboard, because the only things beside the ranked point that matter the reward is the staked colony. #2.The Orbitals Leaderboard. It's another leaderboard, but this time it's about how many orbitals are collected on each battle. You need 3 orbitals collected in each race in order to get the orbitals point. Have more orbitals will give no bonus, but can prevent your enemies to get the orbitals point for the orbital leaderboard race. Once again, staked colony is the multipplier factor for the rewards here.
#3.Colony collected on the track. This is the last way to earn from the race. Beside the orbitals, there is colony that is available on the track. We can collect orbitals and colony based on our skills to collect them with the max you can collect are based on the trunk slot of your Karts. The higher the level and rarity of your Karts, the more trunk slots for you to collect the orbitals and colony. Unlike the orbitals which required minimum 3 to get the points, colony is given based on how much you get without any minimum or maximum ammount. The factor for this income is your rank point and once again the staked colony.

So, based on the explanation above, collecting colony and orbitals is essential for every player in order to get rewards on this game. We need the information of where the colony and orbitals are summon and how to get them to makes it more effective for us the collect them all.

Tips on Collecting Colony and Orbitals on Desert Map

For this session, I will show you where the colony and orbitals on the Desert Map and tips on how getting it. I will give the explanation by the order they are found on the track to makes you easier memorize them.

First 3 colony (up to 6 colony available to collect)

Let's start with the first object we will find on this map. It's the first 3 orbitals which located near the start line. Tips for collecting them is by getting on the white dotted line and try following it because the colonies are located exactly at those lines. Cornering mastery is the key for collecting them, trying make the turn while keep your kart on the lines. Once you master it, you can easily collect them. Here is how I do it as shown on the gif below :

Anyway, colonies will respawned after few second we collect them, so get ready to recollect them on the 2nd lap if it's not yet collected by your enemies and you still have the trunk slot empty for them.

First 3 Orbitals (Not respawned)

Once we collect the first 3 colony, we will meet the first 3 orbitals. It is important to collect all of them if possible, because 3 orbitals is needed for the orbitals leaderboard points. Once you collect 3 orbitals, you can freely doing the race (or try collect the colony if you want).

The tips for collecting the first 3 orbitals is by going into the left white dotted line as soon as you collect the colony (or miss them). This is because the first 3 orbitals are located not so far after the first 3 colonies. Once again, the orbitals are on a corner, so master the cornering is important.

Last 3 colony (up to 6 colony available to collect)

Okay, after the orbitals, we will meet another 3 colonies. I think this is the most tricky part on the track. The colonies are located at the latest turn after having a twisting turn. The colonies are located at the left white dotted line, so try keep your kart on this line on the turns. Your cornering master is having harder test for this one. You will see how it's look at the gif below.

Try to get a stable cornering with the drift (using spacebar key), but be carefull because the ir a little jump which makes us often lose the drift. Anyway, just like the first 3 colonies, it will respawned as well.

Last 3 Orbitals (Not respawned)

Okay now time for the last orbitals, which is the last object we can collect on the track (except the fact that colonies will respawned). It is located on the right white dotted line, so keep on that line

Note that there is some orbitals that I can't collect because all of my trunk is already filled. This is the example of how it will goes once you surpass the trunk slot with colonies and orbitals.
