Hello beautiful folks, hope you all are doing fine and shinning bright. I'm back again with another post.
This time let me tell you about my wild gaming experience in PES (e-football). I have been playing it for long now maybe a year or two, especially in my extra free time and sometimes, during my class 😉.
So, my team's collective strength is between 3050-3070 depending on the formation. Along with that I always love to play with possession Playstyle whether it’s in real life or game. The play of give and take (tiki-taka) especially Barcelona’s playstyle under Pep Guardiola (some may argue for Johan Cruyff) . Though, I wasn’t successful in getting Pep as my coach, my coach is Luis A. Roman.
This time I decided to play on Legend difficulty, scary huh? Maybe not for you but, for me, hell yeah! It’s nothing less than trying to outsmart a chess grandmaster. Yes, one learn through their patterns but every team has its own Playstyle and formation.
I’m a Messi's fan boy since my sanity years with that I built my squad around Messi. I made my 4-2-1-3 formation and played with Messi as the SS (will change to RWF next), two legendary CF with three midfielders and a rock solid defense.
Now with the first game, I kept my possession and tried to break through the opponents defense. Alas! All in vain, first game ended with a last minute chaos.
Of course, it was the first game, I had enough games in my pocket to keep going. I kept on grinding and after 5 games, I had two draws, two wins and one lost match. I knew draw aren’t of much help, still, way better than losing.
Furthermore, I called it a day and by the night time, I’m playing it once again. The difficulty started to seem bit better now. Messi owning the spotlight, assisting and scoring goals.
Then came the long-arch rivalry, ‘El-Classico,’ match between Barcelona and Real Madrid. It was one of a joyful and tiring match with Mbappe and Vini crushing through my defense easily. During the first half, they had all the possession but, I was winning with 1-2. As the next half started, I miss calculated a pass and boom, Mbappe scored a banger. I wanted to win this match but failed to do so and ended with a draw.
During my league journey, I also played some player to player matches because was tired of Legend AI mind games. It was a good experience but, I still prefer AI as player to player is quite sweaty.
In the end, I have played 1/3rd of the league with eight wins, four draws and one lost match. I'm placed third in the league table with Real Madrid on the top.
Through all the grind and pumping victories I enjoyed almost every game. The passion kept me going on, outsmarting AI with Messi's and De Bruyne through balls and nutmegs. Pure joy! Sometimes, I play like a GOAT and the other, I’m a mere child just smashing buttons, playing all noob.
