One day like today, I headed to my PlayStation 2, driven by my desire for adrenaline while playing. I wanted to play a game or two, since I hadn't played in a while due to my surveillance work. I was just then turning on my PlayStation, and everything was working fine. The game started and it was great, but suddenly, the screen went black, and I couldn't hear anything. I tried restarting the PlayStation, and after several attempts, it turned on, but the screen went black again.
My heart skipped a beat. My dreams of playing games during my work break were dashed. I waited four long days to finally use my most precious possession, and my beloved PlayStation was dying. It was terrible news.
The PlayStation turns on and off normally, no problem, but something changed; it's not the same anymore.
My old TV screen keeps waiting for something to turn on, and nothing happens, just a slight noise and then an eternal silence.
From my incipient electronic knowledge, I have come to three frightening conclusions, which may be related to this catastrophic event:
- The cable that connects the video and audio to the TV
- The cable connection point on the Play is damaged
- The Play may have a short circuit or an internal obstruction that It won't start the video or audio
It makes me sad to think it's one of the last two, as it could be very expensive. The cable can be replaced, but if it's not the cable, I'd have to take it to a technician and get them to tell me what the damage is.

Hola a todos amigos de Hive el día de hoy les traigo un nuevo post para el canal, y esta vez no son noticias muy buenas, ya que ha ocurrido algo muy grave!
Un día cualquiera como hoy me he dirigido hacia mi Play Station 2 movido por mis deseos de adrenalina al jugar, deseaba jugar uno que otro juego, ya que tenía rato sin jugar debido a mi trabajo de vigilancia. En eso estaba cuando prendo mi Play, y todo va correctamente, inició el juego y genial, pero de un momento a otro, se ha puesto la pantalla en negro, y no se escucha nada, probé reiniciando el Play, y después de varios intentos logró encender, pero ya nuevamente se puso la pantalla en negro.
Mi corazón dio un vuelco. Mis sueños de jugar en mi descanso laboral se vieron frustrados. Esperé cuatro largos días para por fin utilizar mi bien más preciado y mi amado PlayStation estaba agonizando. Fue una fatal noticia.
El Play logra encender y apagarse normal, no hay inconveniente con eso, pero algo cambió en él, ya no es el mismo.
La pantalla de mi TV antiguo queda esperando como que se conecte algo y no sucede nada, solo un leve ruido y después un silencio eterno.
Desde mis incipientes conocimientos electrónicos, he llegado a tres temibles conclusiones, y que tal vez se relaciones con este catastrófico suceso :
- Se dañó el cable el cual conecta el video y el audio a la TV
- Se dañó el lugar donde se conecta el cable en el Play
- Es posible que el Play haya tenido algún corto o alguna obstrucción interna que no deja arrancar el video ni el audio
Me pone triste pensar que es alguna de las 2 últimas, ya que podría salir muy costoso, el cable se puede reemplazar, pero si no es el cable tendría que llevarlo a un técnico y que me diga cuál es el daño que presenta.
