Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
Trying Out Those Toxic Games!
How many of you have heard of the game called Rust before? I'm sure quite a few of you I would assume since the game has been a huge success the last few years and it has also been able to retain the player base and activity on their servers!
Do I recommend it though?
No, not at all!
Laughs nothing personal but if you're looking for a quiet and peacefull game to play then Rust is definitely not the game for you! It is probably one of the most toxic games out there! The reason for this is simple... Just like life you've got to step on other people to reach the top!
Now this is a kill or be killed type of game and playing it alone is probably not the wisest idea there is, a group is highly preferred since most people play it with an eight stack of friends and all of them are joined in one channel on Discord so with that said what chance do you have of survival against an eight stack. But okay enough of that!
I want to share this game that I used to play for hours on end, one might even go as far and say that I was addicted to it!

Now keep in mind this isn't going to be one of my usual posts, frankly there isn't much happening in the video, since it is a time consuming game it well.... takes time to progress! I will be pointing out a few things that is important. I have to add that I am the worst player in this game at the moment, I wasn't kidding when I said I haven't played it in a long time it's been like two years! Yes I do die a few times!
Rust is a game that I really want to get back into and with Rust I will absolutely need to get a new headset to game with, the plan is to eventually try and make some content with the game. It can be somewhat hilarious at times or heart pumping and more than often it's frustrating! Like the current session I had. 😅
The game plot is easy, the first thing you need to do is build a shelter and feed your character, after that it's pretty much open game for what you want to do. There are obviously farmers and killers in the game and you can choose your path. Either kill those who have or are farming resources, steal it and carry it back to your base and strengthen your fortress! The other option being the farmer that gets killed by the killer just to lose it all. With that said being in a group of eight I was fond of being the farmer! It was always fun!
With all the above said, check it out. The game is a bit laggy. I haven't done the tweakings yet! While your at it try to check out a few YouTube videos around this game as well! You are bound to get some amazing content!

The Grind We All Have To Endure!
Now the first thing you need to start farming for in this game is wood! Everything you set out to build requires wood and lots of it! A lot more than you can even begin to think!
I did say that your first goal is to build some sort of shelter in order to have a safe haven to retreat to when the need arises! You've got to have something solid between you and all of the bandits out there because all they want is everything you have!
So off to the forest it is to get the resources for the needed tools so that I can start slapping up a little fortress!

The Perfect Layout!
If I had any say in anything it would be that this inventory tab is fine tuned to be one of the best there is! It's even better than The Witcher 3's layout!
The Character.
On the right you've got your shady character and the seven blocks below it is the slots for which you can add clothing or armor in. A thing to take into consideration would be that the map has different biomes as well. So dress accordingly! Laughs!
The Inventory.
The inventory is in the center of the tab as everyone can clearly see. Yeah I've got a whole bunch of nonsense stacked up in there, but when you've got nothing everything looks like gold right! The bottom row of the inventory is actually your toolbar in which you can equip the tools or weapons you need quick access to. The information tab on the top of the inventory section is what each individual item's stats are.
The Crafting.
The right side of the screen has the quick crafting section. It just helps a little more when you are in some trouble to be able to know if you can craft something like arrows in a more effective way. There are plenty of other items you can craft in the game. Way too much to even start mentioning all of it!

It's More Than What You Have!
Laughs yeah okay I know it ain't much at all but at-least I set up some sort of defensive structure, now I can start gathering some good resources. But I just jumped in to see how things have changed and all that. I'll probably have to rebuild this base by tomorrow when I log on again! No doubt in the fact that I will get raided tonight.
A wooden structure is just one level above a twig structure, now destroying twig structures are so easy that a literal new spawn would be able to bash it with a rock! Upgrading it to a fully wooden structure is perhaps the wisest decision, but don't think that it's much of a defence improvement!
Oh btw, nevermind the starving and bleeding tabs! I know what I'm doing!

Always Something That Needs Doing!
Rust is filled with things to do, you can never stop expanding or gathering things. Everything that matters in this game is depletable there for you have to constantly grind for the substances that can help you craft explosives. There of course is an end goal but even when that has been reached you still need to do some grinding and again the more players the better the experience!
I decided to run around trying to collect some scrap that I can gamble with and along side that gathering some resources is never a bad idea. Until I got smacked by some guy with a revolver! Laughs!
Everywhere along the roads are these barrels and wooden containers that holds some sort of special item, some are more rare than others and there are even some hidden and locked laboratories and military bunkers through out the world! Don't worry I'll get around to those in due time! As I said I am planning to do something based around this game!

On Top Of The World Baby!
Well since I've done what I wanted and checked out what needed I can now call it the end of a day! Frankly I wanted to continue playing but I had other plans for the night and Rust is a game that will consume your entire weekend if you give it even the smallest of gaps!

Have a good one folks! Remember! Game like you've only got one life left!
