Hello Hive Garden friends, may God always bless us all and keep us healthy. Greetings to all community members and respected stakeholders.

In this post, I want to share my activities going to the garden. I went around noon. The weather in the garden was very hot because there weren't many shade trees. The only large tree in the garden was a durian tree, growing tall in several locations within the garden, growing in separate positions.

This is also the garden where we planted chilies. In the garden, there are still some old chili plants left, some of which are still growing. The large trees that provide shade in this garden are durian trees. They grow tall and have sparse foliage.

These durian trees were once planted in large numbers in several locations, but only a few survived. Since being planted, these durian trees have grown naturally without any special care, growing independently and surviving to this day, even growing in undergrowth.

We are now entering the durian fruiting season and have even entered the durian harvest period. All the durian trees in this garden have fruited and will soon be ready for harvest. Durian fruit is in high demand, so it fetches a very good price when sold.

This is the first harvest season for this season, and the fruit grows randomly and is still of poor quality. Some of the fruit wilts and falls rotten. The main pests of durian trees in my area are squirrels, and there are also pigs that eat the durian fruit that has fallen to the ground.

Once ripe, the durian will fall off the tree on its own. There's no need to pick or incubate it, as fruit that ripens straight from the tree has a better flavor than fruit that's been picked and incubated. I also enjoy eating durian; its soft texture and distinctive flavor are always tempting, but some people might not like it because it has a very strong and strong odor.

That's a beautiful and reall tall trees. I haven't tried durian ever. And because I grow up bot eating that, esp the oldies, I also didn't try eating it. Lol. So lucky of you to have them in your garden. But how's the smell? Or its far from the house no?
