What makes me fire people?
Business is not a pleasure, but it is a treasure, just like the a mother treasure the child in her womb, nothing more nothing less.
An injury done on a potential client through the leg of dishonest, is an injury done to the entire company and management.
Not one want to allow his or her business, as an entrepreneur to be ruin maid and destroy behind their back with a smiling slips.
I own a fashion house, which by God's grace transcended to a fashion company, with other business I get my hands into.
Because I want to create opportunities, and employment for others who many not necessarily need to be a CEO, before earning good salary.
Surviving as a business man in my home country requires your being as a intelligent as whatever, specifically as an entrepreneur.
And this calls for company owners to work with people who are ready to build the same vision with him, because the market space in my country, is faced with high business magas whom are ready to check you out of the market space if you're not competitive and competent enough.
But to achieve this I know I an entrepreneur who's interest my align with my goals, objectives, mission and vision of my business.
Dishonesty is the primary offence. Indiscipline is another. Greed and selfishness are also high on the list.
No matter how competent you are, the moment I uncover an act of deception, you're gone. How can you and I be in the room, sitting across from each other and discussing the fortunes of the company, when I know you are a common criminal in a shirt and tie?
It would be impossible for me to keep you as an employee. Most of the people I've fired were not upright individuals.
Dishonesty, which stems from disloyalty, warrants immediate dismissal.
Loyalty should be a significant consideration in filling positions. We all tend to look at competence-which is non-negotiable, by the way— but a competent manager who is disloyal will still ruin your company.
In my experience, loyalty is not a function of how long someone has worked for you, either. The time they've been with you can certainly be an indicator, as you know that these are people who have grown with the company and shown commitment.
That's good, and it makes you more comfortable. However, loyalty can show up very early in an employee's tenure as well. They don't need to have worked for you for a full year before you spot it.
How does loyalty work? Loyal employees do not undermine you or the company. They don't badmouth or criticize you in front of others.
When there are things they disagree with, they will find a way of telling you privately. They watch out for you and the business. They go the extra mile to make things right.
They never seek to take advantage of you or the system. Instead, they want to see how the company can grow, how you can position it better in the market, and how to cut costs.
They're ready to forgo their own comfort and privileges when necessary. They place the company above personal interests. If they want to leave, for whatever reason, they will broach the subject with you in confidence.
Disloyalty is not dissimilar to a cancer that will spread far and wide to ruin an organization.
I had a CEO who snuck around behind us to ask one of our biggest clients not to buy Fabric from ys explaining that he had his own company that could supply them instead.
How could you keep such a manager in your business, let alone your CEO? It would make more sense to shut down your company and apply to work for his.
There are people out there who will do anything to grow their own business on the side, and chase you out of the market, all the while standing with you and smiling.
If you don't know what they're doing behind your back, you'll wake up one day to discover that you don't have a business anymore.
This is a real story, I spoke with him about it he denied severally, but because, my customers understand the way I treat them right and how far we've gone.
They licked the secret to me , I invited my manager home, to broach up the allegations, but his denier was an isaw, no remours, coated in white shirt and tires.
I gave him some time, thinking he would have a way to explain himself, and see how we can reshoveld matters but no, he denied persistently.
So I decided to fire him. As a business person, watch out for your customers. Communicate with at least 55% of your clients, is very vital.
Some persons we entrepreneur employe to manage our businesses , while we have time to strive for other expansion our just ills in white coat.
Most of them want to ruin our business and if you don't watch out, you end up closing down to apply in their secret business, they built with your money.
This is a very expensive experience, I thought it would be wise to share it here with us, a dishonest workerb or a manager, is non negotiable, no matter how competent they are.
Do not compromise competency, which is very important with a dishonest worker, trust me, look around carefully, you will fine another person.
You will because, it is not in your best delight to fire them but if you keep them , then they will fire you, and even fire your generation unborn.
Please if you learn something from my experience today at office, comment, reblog and click the up vote button.
