Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share about how we end this first weekend on 2026. Right now after I talked with my wife with our finance. Turns out that this year we need to save more since we are already used up more than 75% of our asset to buy House. So, we need to save some too and need to cut down all the Fun expenses. We need to be patient until reaching our milestone first then we can talk later with our expenses. And this week is the last we can spend a lot money. After this we are having a really boring weekend. Maybe it just strolling around without buying snacks, food, or even eating out. Maybe we are more buying groceries instead eating out. But, lets see.
First me and my son need to change our hairstyle and cut our hair. It will make our life fresh a little bit. So, we are going to barbershop.
Its only cost 2$ each person.
My son already like cutting his hair in this barbershop. Maybe because the barberman service is really great with kids. I also like cutting my hair here. My barberman is always same and know my style everytime i go there.
And this is our picture together after we are cutting our hair. It feels fresh right?? And also i can save some of shampoo. No need to washing my hair everyday since it really short and almost nothing in back and side.
After that my wife want to eating out. So, i decided to go to Hao Peng Yao Kopitiam. The last restaurant that really empty of visitors but the taste of the dish is really good.
I dont know why this place is empty even though the food is really delicious.
Look even my son is can't wait to order the food. Ahh yeah he was the hungry one. I dont know why he is so hungry in the morning. Maybe he is on the grow cycle and need more eat to grow ( Hopefully). And he is already show what he want ( he want to eating Noodles this time). Meanwhile me, I am ordered Salty Chicken Crispy. And my Wife eating Salted Chicken with Egg. Looks same but with different picture. So, we are ordering just want to compare it.
After a while our food came out. And yeah the food serving is kinda different. Dont know about the taste.
And this is my son Noodles. I bet he cannot finish up this dish. It too much for him for the portion. But, who knows he is really hungry so he can finish his dish.
So, for my dish. The first bite is really delicious. Literally. That's why I'm a bit surprised why this depot is so quiet. The taste of the dish is surprisingly delicious. It is quite bit salty but like the dish name that Salty Chicken so i cannot blame it. But, combined with fried rice combined with fried onions. Its really tasty. Even my wife also commented that my dish is really delicious. But, moreover my wife dish is far away from my dish the combination of egg,salted chicken ( i smell and taste butter too) is really delicious. The only drawback for those food is the portion is small. If only they give a little bit more. I think it will be good. Since this dish only cost 3$ each and for the noodles is 2$. With those price i think it worth it. Yeah back then when we are first trying we think we are delusional. But, the second time we are going there. Yep this place is just fit. Maybe we need to bring ourself drink from home. This place drink is way more expensive than the dish. The glass of Teh Tarik is more than 3$ and Milo Ice drink is cost 3,5$ which is really expensive i guess. In the end we are spending 16$. Overall yes this is totally worth it. Maybe if we want to eating out this is the first destination especially if we want to saving some money.
And since we are already made decision about our finance back then before the year is changed. So, we are trying to implemented it immediately. Hopefully my wife can spend less for the next week. And me of course i will not buying anything at all. I am already getting used to it.
