Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share about the result of my son health condition. How i can get sure with all the result of this diagnose?? So, after eating in A&W from content yesterday, my son starting to feel not good. His stomach hurt and want to go home. At first i just guess that he is just over eating that make his stomach not well. But, turns out that at night, he got fever and starting to sick.
Especially at night when he sleep, he cannot sleep well. After snooring a few times he started to wake up and then he goes to sleep again. And the fever spike until reach 39 degree Celcius. So, i just give him paracetamol for the first aid before going to doctor. And since he got sick at Saturday night, there are no doctor's practice that open. So, what me and my wife can do is just waiting and give my son Paracetamol 4 times in a day. At least the fever is not spike too much. And then at Monday we are going to otolaryngologist again to cross checking with my son medical condition the other day.
Turns out that his Adenoid inside his nose is 100% blocade the airway. Thats explain everything from easy to get infected and fever. He cannot focused on something, did not want to exercise due to fatigue. Gritted teeth and many more.
Even his Tonsil also inflamed this time. Almost bloked his airway from mouth too. But, this is due the fever and infected. The doctor guess this is bacteria that comes from his mucus from his sinus that cannot release since the path already blocked and then infected due trapped inside his sinus in long period of time.
The doctor said that his teeth is kinda anomali too due his mouth always open when sleeping and the bacteria inside mouth are dry and then broke the teeth even though my son did not drink and eating sugary food. So, the doctor said that my job as parents to fix this is kinda too much. First what need to do is remove the adenoid first with surgery. But, what i like from this doctor is he said that need to give medication at least 1 month trial first. Lets see if the adenoid can be reduced and make the airway for even just 20% it will be okay. It still can be treatment with just medicine if my son can got at least 20% airway from his nose while sleep.
If next month it still not reduced and still blocking more than 80% of the airway. It is better to remove the adenoid with surgery called adenoideknotomi. The doctor suggesting to use State Insurance to be free charge for this surgery. But, i actually worried if using State Insurance from my country since my country is already corrupted. I afraid that my son not handle well and afraid that something bad happened due the corrupted. But, i kinda dont have more choices. The doctor just said if this condition still continue it will be very bad for my son. His jaws will change, his teeth also changes, and of course metabolic illness like high blood pressure risk and diabetic risk gonna spike due lack of sleep. And of course he will easily got infected due the mucus that trapped inside his sinus and it can lead to brain ilness too. So right now, i am still going to use this state insurance first. And my second way if the state insurance too many bureaucracy and cannot be used, i will borrow my friend money first. And i will paid after i got the money. But, hopefully still I hope my son got miracle that this medication can be work and reduce his adenoid even though the chance is really thin. But, the worst case he need surgery and i already planned and prepared his surgery next month after back control again in doctor.
