Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share about new housing development that very close to my rented house. And lately in my housing area whatsapp group, they open discussion about this new developing housing area. Many pros and cons that happened in that conversation. Me?? Of course i am not join in their conversation. I am just reading what they said and i just need the information for my benefit. Also in my country the elderly still like communism they wont get critic and thirsty for respect. So, i will share here to make you guys join in what i felt lately.LOL
Actually this project started 2 years ago. I got leaflet from marketing that standby near here and want to explained about this new housing area. At that time this place is swamp. And this place is for water catchment area. So, when heavy raining, we no need to worry about flood since this area is huge and all water goes to sea. But, after this new housing development started to running. All Swamp Area already covered by limestone. And look what happened here. All will be house in several years. I estimate this new housing area will be finished in 2 years. And it might be full sold out in 5-6 years maybe if the price still like this.
I will sharing what i though about this new housing area and this is my pros opinion. New Housing Area that means it will be new people come here. And automatically that will make new market in this area. As trader, i am looking this can be new opportunity especially when i can get access to them in social media or in whatsapp group. I can share what i have and might be make new sale in there. And also, with this new housing area, it might be make someone will developing hospital,school,pharmacy,new market area, and many more and that means new opportunity again for me as trader right. New people can be new army and new customer.

SInce they are human after all. Many people will bring many disaster.
Look at the picture. Right now, the waterways getting narrower and that means this waterways cannot holds a lot of water. Imagine if the rain is not stopping in few hours and it is heavy rain. What will happened?? Of course flooding. And that will make me got flooded too and it will be super troublesome. Second, just For your information, in my country even in my city that called big city. Many people are stupid, they are still throw away trash into this waterways and what makes even more stupid is they dont know that will caused the flood. And after flood happened they accusing goverment and even accusing the devil or even GOD. Thats stupid right??
And not only that, many people come here, will bring many cars and motorcycle. And that means the fresh air will be depleted especially the grass, green area, and the tress are gone and changed to be a house.. And talking about vehicle. Long before this new housing area started to build. The way out of this housing complex is very congested, imagine if they are bring 1 car in every 1 house
Looks how much house already been build. Some of them are already occupied. It can adding maybe above 200 cars in this new housing area. It is clear that it will make the roads congested and crowded.
I think i need to reconsider to stay in area or moving out to the complex that more quite and close to school. I think even though i am using motorcycle, avoiding traffic and motor vehicle fumes is kinda good for me and my little family lungs heatlh. Even if there are not much cars. I am still afraid when heavy rain comes and the sea is high tide, this area will be flooded. Right now my house is not get flooded. But, who knows since the waterways got narrowed then it would make the flood rising and started to going inside home. And that really bad. But, yet i still dont know what happened. Maybe i will stay for 2 years and see what happened in those 2 years. And if i think we need to move out then we got no other choices. We need to adapt right??
