Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. In this content i want to share about visiting New Park near my house called Taman Harmony. This place is free to entry and everyone can going inside and enjoying this park. So, without further ado lets check this out
So, this week is when my son have midterm exams. But, since i dont like to study when i was a kid. I try using different method that my parents used to me back then. Instead ask my son to study at home and stressing him, it is better if i engage him in Nature place and while he enjoying the moment then me and my wife take turns to asking him about his subject. And i think it is works. He can answer correctly and not pressured at all. So, we got both purpose done for this weekend. Studying while doing little vacation.
Before entering Taman Harmony kids can play on outside playground. But, i suggest not to my son. Not because that place is not safe or dirty. But because the sun is too hot at that day. I bet those iron bar is really hot.
Turns out that in entrance area there are so much people gathered there. But, i think it is kinda normal since we are going there at weekend. Maybe when we are going at weekdays it can be more quiet.
This place kinda cool at entrance area. The right side we can see the animal cage.
There is Kate Chicken. Chicken that from Java Island i guess. I dont know exactly where this animals came from but i heard about this chicken only in Malang and Surabaya. This chicken fur kinda exotic. Having stand straights fur in the head. Kinda cute but at the same times it looks like sick chicken.LOL
And the other side of the entrance area is More proper Playground But since there are too crowded my son dont want to play there. He is afraid if too much people like that.
In the next to chicken coop there are Rabbit cage area. Look at the rabbit they are hiding in the shade since the weather is too hot. I dont know why but recently in my city the weather is super hot, at noon it reached almost 40 degree Celcius like at this time.

Actually this place is not bad. But, in the next content i will share something that the bad side of this place. This park is awesome, well maintenance at least until right now. Many people said this park is established 2 months ago so it is like fresh new.
The concept of this park is giving ambience and vibes for every contingent and country. So, it will attract guest to take a photo for their social media. This place designer is great at marketing i guess. Whoever they are making this concept with using guest to share the place in social media is like using people to be a good marketing without any budget.
Looks even they made walkroad like entering in Japan temple.
This is good place for photography.
If you guys asking why we are sometimes wearing mask in this public space because there are many people who cannot read that still smoking in this area even has been banned and because there are some place that too crowded and we dont know they are contain virus or not, i think better prepare with ourself first and wearing mask to reduce the risk getting infected right.
This park kinda huge. But not as huge as our favourite Park in Malang city called Jatim Park 2 that contains Zoo inside. But, i think this park is still huge too. And there are so many place that very instagramable. Many place are very good for photography. I dont know if in the morning, i think it would be greater since the light is not too bright like when i took that photo.
In some area, the park are really well maintained. Some of huge tree with lush red and colourfull leaves plant surrounding the tree and with some of artistic statue there.
I like this crossroads. The sceneery is really fit for photography. and my wife also like that crossroad too even she want to get photograped there
And this sunflower field also great too. Their making little space for passages that very good for video and photography. Unfortunately the blooming season was already passed since there are many sunflower over bloom and started to withered.
This statue also unique too sadly this statue just covered with fake plants instead the real ones.
And there are house stable too in here. I think many kids want to riding horse and strolling around this park while riding the horse. But, my wife dont want to my son to ride in here. My wife said it is better when in Malang instead here.
This place also really cool for hangout. Sadly i can go there and take picture closer since my son already parched at that time. So, we are just walking fast to finding stall that selling water.
the second most crowded place is in this place called Antartica side. Many people want to get photograped with this Penguin statue. My son actually want to get pictured there but he is already whining because of thristy.
So, we are continue to going back to front entrance and going to stall there that selling water. And while we are going to back there are Deer cage in the left side. My son already got curious and starting to ask many things there. Starting why the deer is just laying around and why there are no drink in this cage and many more.
And this is the last picture while in Taman Harmony he want to act like Lemur statue. He even said that they are similar looks like Lemur and even worst he want to keeping lemur in home. And thats so absurd.
So, after returned to the front entrance we are finding some kiosk there and buying mineral water and going to other park. Yes there are 2 new parks near my home. See you in the next park.
