Hello Asean Hive Community
How long is it? 9 days? I haven't posted anything in this community for more than a week. It's a fasting period, so I am reducing my frequency of posting foods. I know it is irrelevant about posting food and disturbing fasting people, but I just feel that I should reduce the intensity for a while, until the IED DAY this month.

I visited this nice cozy restaurant last week. I was waiting for my car to be fixed at the automotive workshop, so I walked there and had a lunch. It was quite empty, and usually it was very packed, full of people. The reason why it was empty because it was during the Ramadhan month, most people here were having a fasting. It's what Moeslims do during this month.

The place was Solaria. It was a semi fast food restaurant, because what they served mostly were Street Food. The taste was decent, in fact years ago they only served cheap food on malls and shopping arcades. But it seemed they had improved quite well.
If you are a foreigner in Indonesia, especially from Europe or USA and you do not have enough experience enduring the Asian food, or you are afraid that you are not immune enough for of hygienic, I would recommend you go to this Restaurant Chain and take it as your trial or practice mode lol.
There are reasons why I do not come to this restaurant often, but most of it is the price. 54.000 rupiah for a noodle and ice tea, or around 3.2 USD. For me it is too much, but it is not expensive at all. They always pick a place which people will sell food twice or thrice of that price.

They gave me ice tea first, because it was the easiest to be made. The taste was so so but the presentation was on spot. The ice was around 1/3 of the glass height. Although it was still a cheat, because volume-wise, they piled up the tea with ice around 50% of total volume. Seriously the glass was smaller on the lower part.
But still the presentation was right. 1/3 of glass height lol.

Finally my order came after 25 minutes. It was quite slow regarding the place was empty, maybe their chef was sleeping when I came in. I ordered Loe Mi, which basically it was a noodle in Cap Cay soup. Cap cay, Cap Chay or Cap Cai is a chinese food, some say it is fujian cuisine, but people here more believe it is Indonesian food. it is a stir fried vegetable dish.

I think this is not the first time I have posted something about Cap Cay. So let see what I had on my dish that time. You can see some cuts of boiled chicken, spring onions, small cut of carrots, small cuts of Cauliflowers, a cabbage and some shroom.
I was a bit disappointed because they should had more vegetables inside. It was the reason why I ordered that dish.

However the taste was decent, so I was content with that. It was a stir fried vegetable as I said before, you could see that the soup was very thick. Oh ya, they put in some scrambled egg too. So I believed based on nutrition content, this noodle dish should be a good one during rainy day like that day.
Ok that's my food post here, after several days of hiatus. I hope you enjoy it and I am waiting for all responses you want to send to me. Thanks for coming and reading this post, see you next time.
