Hello Asean Hive Community
Two weeks ago I posted about Mr Tabby cat, my partner in crime during lunch break. He and I always secure a table together, so nobody bugged us during lunch break.
However Mr Tabby cat has been missing for days. So I believe he has met the almighty. Life of stray cats are full of mysteries, some live long for years, some have only a short ride.
So as the result...

Getting an empty seat is a hard task. The easiest way is to wait for the lunch break to be over first, so I will have less competitor. But it will be strange if you eat alone in cafetaria whilst everyone else is getting back to work.

So most of the time when the place is full, I will get to the place where most guy gather and smoke. Unlike female office workers, male office workers are more open to share their table with strangers.
In the area where smoke is dense, female office workers will tend to get away. They do not like the odor, the tobacco smoke, attached to their hair and dress or uniform. So that's the only place I could get a seat.
KETOPRAK
I need to get back to my habit, sharing my food here lol...

So today I am sharing this food, a street food which is also a comfort food. It is called Ketoprak. The presentation is very similar to gado gado, a traditional indonesian salad with peanut sauce. Ketoprak uses peanut sauce too, that's why in a glance they look alike.

The difference is that Ketoprak is not a salad,so we have less vegetables inside. Usually the veggie are only cucumber and beansprout, although some use more vegetables too.

Because Ketoprak is purely a comfort food, they are full of carbohydrate. That's why you will see many vermicelli there. So this dish is basically a rice cake with extra vermicelli. The vegetables are cucumber and beansprout. We have some fried tofu and sunny side up in order to make this dish better, not as purely junk food.
Ok that's for today post about Mr Tabby Cat and Ketoprak, please send your prayer to Mr Tabby Cat, so he will find a good new life.

Thank you for coming and reading my post. I live in Jakarta, Ex-Capital City of Indonesia. I used to live by making money online, that's why I like being here, on HIVE, and in #PIMP - (Paper In My Pocket) community. Feel Free to leave any comment below
