For the past few weeks, I faced a tough situation. I had to leave my old selling spot on the side of the street because it was prohibited. That place had been good for business, and losing it left me feeling worried and uncertain. I spent days searching for a new location, walking around with my products and hoping to find a spot where I could start again. Unfortunately, during that period, I made no money at all. It was stressful, and each day without income made my situation harder.
After two weeks of searching, I finally found a new strategic location in Bekasi Timur Regency. This new spot has turned out to be a blessing. Since setting up here, I have been able to sell many of my products. Business has picked up, and I am earning good money again. Even better, I am starting to see new customers coming regularly, and they are showing interest in what I offer. This gives me fresh motivation to keep going and improve my business further.
From this experience, I’ve come to understand that as a street peddler, being forced to move or being banned from public spaces is a normal part of the journey. It’s not easy, but it’s something I have to be prepared for. The important thing is to stay resilient and keep looking for opportunities, no matter the setbacks.
Now, I have a clear goal for the future. I want to save enough money to rent a permanent selling space. Having a stable location will help me avoid being moved again and build a stronger business with loyal customers.
