At 4:30 PM, with the sun 30 degrees from the west, I visited a well-maintained lake in Park Place housing. The weather was mild, not hot. The grass was neatly trimmed, and the area was clean, creating a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere.
I liked to spend a few hours in green areas, surrounded by nature. Was it common or not? I wasn’t sure, but for me, it brought peace, clarity, and quiet joy inside.
A few fishermen were seen by the lake; one caught a big fish. I sat by the water, then walked around with my daughter. She seemed to enjoy it so much. Later, I sat again, looked around, and took a deep breath. Closing my eyes, I exhaled slowly. The green views of trees and grass surrounded me. It was a calm, peaceful moment I truly appreciated.
I remembered my childhood, watching farmers by the river. They would open their bags, take out cooked fish, and eat together under the trees. It was a simple, joyful memory.
Do you like green grass? What do you do there? I sit, relax, and watch the wind move gently. Sometimes, I take sugarcane, crush it, and make a sweet drink to enjoy slowly.
See my poem!
The sun goes down, the sky turns gold,
The lake is calm, the air is cold.
Fish jump softly, trees stand still,
The world is quiet, the night will fill.
Thanks for visiting! The beauty and peace are double faces of a coin.
