Summer is Coming and Getting Back to My Routine

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY6 days ago (edited)

Heyyy! How's everyone? Cool weather is slowly waning and we will welcome summer season in a few days. Ugh. I have to take advantage of the remaining cool mornings and do a bit of cleaning outside. I'm hoping rainy season takes over soon!

It's halfway of the month and it felt like I'm in a rollercoaster—everything cluttered and disorganized. I'm overwhelmed and can't decide which to deal with first. Lol. But at least I'm slowly moving again. One at a time!

Attending a concert earlier this month was a good break, however. A true euphoria in dystopia. I met some people and surprisingly learned something new about myself. Realizing that new discovery makes me laugh and cringe on some people I have shunned.

Anyway, I finally got to do my groceries after a cake order. This was the only photo I was able to take because I don't bring out my phone anymore while in the grocery. I just have to for this one because I can't understand Korean characters so I have to translate it with my phone. I have to make sure it's gochujang paste even though it says 'sauce'.

I bought some siomai/dumplings after because I missed it. I don't know why my craving for such foods got stronger after knowing prices would increase soon due to the war.

Of course, I also bought an empanada. I didn't know this food is trending recently. Lol. I like the texture of the fried orange batter and the egg inside. I'm craving corn dog right now, so that's what I'm buying on my next grocery trip!

I also made some moringa omelettes again recently. This time with tomatoes. It feels good to be able to grow your own produce and consume it.

Since I've cut a whole branch of the moringa tree, I decided to cook Tinola for dinner so as not to waste the extra moringa leaves.

I added lots of bok choy too. I used the entire pack, actually. Lol. Might as well just put everything instead of letting a few stems rot in the fridge.

I can really say tinola is a dish I can cook without looking on a recipe book.

Recently, I've been forgetting to eat dinner. Hopefully, this doesn't become a habit. Yikes! And my mind is a mess right now, so my excuses if this post doesn't make much sense. But at least I'm back. :)

Oh what a beautiful food combination and the interesting banana with leaves and eggs is so wonderful. Daily life with such healthy food and your purchases has passed happily. Thanks for sharing.

Every dish are looking very exquisite, very homy feels, and cozy. Seeing your tinola makes me miss my grandmother's tinola. Also, don't forget your dinner!😁
